Ok, so I wasn't lying when I said that I wouldn't be able to PAD for a while but I've unexpectedly been paid some money i was owed that I didn't think I'd get until the beginning of next month, so I've paid £16.23 to sainsburys cc which clears it and £26.77 to virgin cc, making a total today of £43, plse.

Apart from the cashback cc I use for ordinary monthly spends and clear every month, I've had 3 cc with 0% balance transfers of varying lengths, one due to finish in November, one in Dece, ber and one in January and this clears the first of them. Both of the others are on course to be cleared before the 0% finishes. This won't quite see me debt free technically though as firstly there is a moral obligation to pay my sister and b-i-l back £5200 that we owe them, even though they have said it doesn't matter - it does to me. Then when these are cleared there is a further transfer to dofor a new 0% deal to cover some stuff we've bought to sell and generate a little extra income as OH self employed work has dried up a bit lately. We know we'll make the money back but putting it on 0% buys us the time to do that. Not ideal I know but it makes sense to us - a spend to save scenario and using 0% to our advantage.

  • Back with my own rounding down PAD of £3.18 to NatWest OD :T

For that OD, am almost there with my less than £2000 by the end of the month target and a big PAD to all my creditors at the end of this week should break through that barrier :j

Have a super day everyone :D
