Saddle sold
, about 1000 alphabet beads sorted
, Sky+ box back into the 50%s
and at the moment I have 16 orders to post tomorrow for a total of over £500
Not sure if I'm going to go back to work tonight or not. I've got some new flatbacks to photograph from the delivery that arrived earlier (the rest of it is all booked on), but I'm making chicken and vegetable soup, I've got some roast veggies in the oven for supper and I really need a shower. Probably best to have another evening on the sofa0 -
New flatbacks photographed and listed - off to polish my halo
The forecasts are saying it's going to be a wet night, so I think I'm going to lurch down the hill with a torch and give the boys some more hay. I was working out how many more sections of bottom field I've got left earlier and if I can stay at the rate of adding one new patch to the available field per week then they won't finish the standing grass until towards the end of January, which will do wonders for my hay stores.0 -
Oooof, what a day. Over £600-worth of orders sent out and two stock deliveries booked on. Extra special mention for my postman, who realised that the two that needed signing for were business-related and when he spotted my dog bouncing around the field below the house, waded down through two muddy fields to where I was mucking out two field shelters so I could sign the paperwork and he didn't have to take them away.
We have a date for Mr Minx's operation - Boxing Day!!!!!!!!! It's actually going to work quite well (assuming it goes ahead, there's still a small question mark over his blood pressure) as that's a quiet-ish time for my work. I'm going to see if we can collect all the rest of this year's hay over the first three weekends of December - one batch of 40 can go in the hay sheds, which will be empty by then, I'm going to ask my neighbours if I can put 40 into their sheep pens and the final 30 can stay in the trailer as long as I get them off the floor on pallets. It'll be a bit of a lump in the cash flow though, that's £330-worth in one month instead of £120 in December, £120 in Jan/Feb and £90 in Mar/Apr.0 -
Scores on the doors - don't expect them to be as good as last week

Grand total: -£14,254.11 / -£14,227.65 £26.96
Given what's come out of the business account this week, that's nothing short of a miracle - £719.87 to suppliers, £541.98 to eBay, £784.73 to Royal Mail, £23.99 to my web shop hosts, £21.33 for a refund to a customer whose order went missing and £7.20 for a book of stamps, for a total of £2099.10 withdrawn. And the personal current account would have been in the green as well if I'd got the cheque for the saddle paid in (will be done tomorrow).
15th of the month, cash banked so far £4581 and change, so still on target for my £9k, though the 30th is a Saturday so money from the 29th & 30th won't be paid in until December. Might have to take a quick look at the PayPal balance on that Saturday night just to see if I technically did it, even if the banking records say otherwise
500 litres of heating oil ordered for the annexe this morning and it's gone down 2p a litre from my last order. OK, that only saves me a tenner on what will be a bill of over £300, but it's a tenner less to pay interest on.

Reeeeeeeeeesult on Mr Minx's Christmas present - I happened to be checking the website I wanted to buy it from at the exact moment they were booking a new delivery of stock on and managed to snag one
Not only that, I had a coupon code for £30 off, £84.50 of tokens and should get 1.5% cashback from Quidco, so that's one iPad Air purchased for £284.50 less about a fiver cashback instead of £399. (Doesn't matter if he sees this, he knows what he's getting

Personal eBaying scores on the doors: 9 sales, 15 unsold, 1 to finish tomorrow night. Not bad, some of them even went for more than the starting price
I have just realised how much money is going to be flowing out of my account between now and Christmas. It looks something like this:
Mr Minx's present: £284.50
Brother's present: £100
Heating oil: c. £320
Hay (because Mr Minx won't be able to drive and won't let me drive his truck on its own let alone with the stock trailer attached, we need to pick up the remaining 110 bales before his operation): £330
New front tyres (being done on Tuesday as mine won't get through the MOT): c. £200
Service and MOT: c. £250
= £1484.50 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
It's all in the budget, apart from Mr Minx's present and the oil (forgot to budget for that, I'll rectify that in future), but it's just not going to be fun to have it all going out in one big lump.0 -
10 sales out of 25 and 7 have been paid for already
After fees it'll be about £38 off the overdraft.
I've spent this afternoon packing orders, as I was over 50 to go by lunchtime today and thought I'd better get a head start otherwise I shall be doing a headless chicken impression tomorrow. Also placed an order with a supplier so it'll get packed and sent tomorrow for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The Barclaycard statement came through yesterday and has been paid. Another £40 off the credit card total0 -
Doing great Caz - December always seems to have extras and even when planned for it's painful!Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020 -
76 orders sent out for the business plus another 8 parcels to go from my personal eBay account.
*isknackered*
Only 14 to go tomorrow at the moment which is a good thing as I'm off into town at lunchtime to get my tyres done.
I've got a quote from the charm bracelet supplier for my next order from them and it's about £2,500. I do actually have the money in the account to pay for it tomorrow, but that would leave me very short, so I need to sit down and work out the cash flow between now and about the second week of January to find the best time to fork out.0 -
Today's money in: £44.80 from my personal eBay sales (I miscalculated!)
Today's money out: £215 on two new front tyres
Oh well, at least it wasn't that far over my guesstimate.
Sales are ticking over nicely and I've worked out that if I can take another £1750 between now and the end of the month then assuming I take the same in December as I did last year (and November looks like it will be up) I can pay for the overseas order0
