If only I could do that every week I'd be debt free by the new yearSadly this only happens in a week where there are very few business outflows. There is, however, a mini milestone to celebrate....

Brilliant, well done :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Today's been a bit of a write-off as my brother in law is up, so we met up with him and my mother in law for lunch and then they came out here for tea and scones.
However, it's a free listing weekend on eBay, I have a crate of DVDs by my feet and after I've had something to eat I'm going to fire up the app on my phone and get listing0 -
The whole crate got listed (apart from one DVD which turned out to be a Region 1 - too much potential hassle to sell that on eBay!), so that's 24 items up for sale and one (Angel season 1 box set) has a bid already
I had to make a trip into the depths of my grandmother's desk to find Mr Minx's medals for the Remembrance Day parade tomorrow - I thought they were in the same box as my Dad's, but they weren't and during the search I found a Gameboy Advance with 6 or 7 games that I thought I'd sold years ago, so that will get listed tomorrow.0 -
I got the GBA listed, but nothing else - it's been a day of catching up on the ironing, the laundry and the accounts.0

Well done on the listing and WHOOP to that CC balance! :j :jMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Ha! Be proud of me, that saddle is FINALLY up for sale and I've got two people interested in it
I also have another 2 items with bids on eBay.
However, the current account balance is about to take a bit of a hit. Firstly because it's my brother's 50th in a fortnight and that means a (budgeted for) special present and secondly because I've decided to push the boat out and buy Mr Minx an extra nice Christmas present this year (not budgeted for). It's something he's wanted for ages, something he'll use every day and he's been so, so generous to me over the past couple of years with presents and holidays that I'm saying hang the extra interest, I'm spoiling him.
Business sales are still going well. If I really push hard I reckon I might be able to bank over £9k this month which would be absolutely fantastic.0 -
£9k...hell who needs Dounreay if there is income generation like that going on?!;)
That's brilliant. Well done you. You will be DF in no timeMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Ah, I wish, Brizzle - most of it will be recycled back into more stock
I need to get my turnover to a minimum of £8k a month every month, once I've got to that point then I can start thinking about a small pay rise.
Good news, someone came to collect my saddle today to try it on her horse. She's going to let me know tomorrow whether she wants it or not, but she's left me a cheque for the full amount to save her coming back if it does fit, so fingers crossed.
Mr Minx is away tonight and tomorrow. I should be working, but the Sky+ box is down to 38% so instead I've had an early supper and I'm vegging on the sofa catching up on recorded stuff. I'll get my big box of alphabet beads out in a bit and do some sorting.0
