We're finally getting some of the rain that the rest of the country has had, so the horses are shut onto the yard again tonight. Merlin has taken to parking himself hopefully in front of the feed shed when I'm down there in the mornings - they only get a bucket feed once a day at the moment and this time last year he was already on two a day the same size as the single one he currently has, so I got the weight tape out to see if he was dropping weight. Nope, he's put on 20kg in the last month, so we're sticking to one feed a day and I've cut their hay ration a bit as well!
Personal scores on the doors are not going to be happy next week; all the spending I did at the weekend has pushed the personal total back over £9k
However, I banked £600 from the business PayPal account this morning and immediately made a payment of £290.15 to the horrible rate card - that's the interest plus £250 off the capital. I've got £120 in PayPal from today's takings plus £240 of sales waiting to be paid for plus £81 in the pipeline from Streamline and an uncleared eCheque. That's £441 towards the remaining £750 I want to clear, so £100+ or more a day for the rest of the week should do it. 0 -
Morning all - another £300 out of the PayPal account and off the business card
Just £1450 left on it at the high rate now; it's getting frustratingly close! I really, really, Really, REALLY want to get this paid off before Christmas, it would be a great present to myself. 0 -

Let me know how you go on the bricks..we tried making the newspaper ones but it was not a success. took ages to make them and they certainly didn't burn as slowly as we'd been told...hope the poo based ones(!) are better..they should be!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Down to £1250...
I had a nice surprise 5 minutes ago, I realised it's Wednesday today, not Thursday - I was thinking that I only had one more day to get my £1000 for the month paid off when actually I have two
I may have to take the dog to the vet tomorrow, she has a little red lump at one end of the scar from her spay which looks like it's got pus in it. I'm bathing it in warm salt water every two hours today (which she thinks is great fun!) to see if I can draw it out, but if it's not looking significantly better by tomorrow morning then I'll take her in to get some antibiotics. It doesn't seem to be bothering her in the slightest, she's not licking it and she's as bouncy and bright as normal. Fingers crossed the old home remedy will work.0 -
I'm knackered again. Up at 6, in the annexe packing orders by 7, out to do the horses and walk the dog as soon as it was light, back at my desk by 9.30, took the dog to the vet at 11, back home by 1 with antibiotics, snarfed lunch, finished packing orders, went to post office at 2, ran 2 miles on the Strathy West tracks on the way home, out on the beach with the dog at 3, horses done at 4, back in the annexe 4.45, finished work for the day at 6, jumped in the shower, collapsed on sofa

I was about to say I hope tomorrow will be quieter, but the farrier is coming at 3 which throws the afternoon outside chores out of whack a bit.
Quidco paid me £11.03 today which I wasn't expecting. I'm not happy with Streamline though - or possibly SagePay. Every night this week there's been some sort of issue with the settlement file SagePay sends to Streamline, so all my credit card receipts are running late  Fortunately enough people are still using PayPal that I've been able to make another chunky payment to the card and the outstanding balance at the higher rate is now down to three figures :j0 -
This could be a long one - it's week end and month end on the same day, so settle down for double scores on the doors!
Weekly first:
(last week/this week/ + or - amount)
Business
Overdraft: -£855.41 / -£2115.37 -£1259.96
Barclaycard: -£2040.15 / -£450.00 +£1590.15
Business total: -£2895.56 / -£2565.37 +£330.19
Personal
Overdraft: -£2700.00 / -£3080.00 -£380.00
Egg card: -£3260.00 / -£3260.00 no change
Barclaycard: -£2900.36 / -£2900.36 no change
Personal total: -£8860.36 / -£9240.36 -£380.00
Grand total: -£11,755.92 / -£11,805.73 -£49.81
And the monthly ones for personal debt:
Debt 31st October 30th November
Overdraft £2680.00 £3080.00 +£400.00
Egg card £3295.00 £3260.00 -£35.00
Teeth loan £250.00 £0.00 -£250.00
Barclaycard £2883.90 £2900.36 +£16.46
Total £9108.90 £9240.36 +£131.46
So I added £131.46 - and I can tell you where that went, take your pick from dog or field shelter mats. PADs for the month totalled £585.77, down on October, which was down on September, so I've lost a bit of momentum on the personal front, but LOOK AT THAT BUSINESS BARCLAYCARD! :j:j:j:j Just £450 to go and I should be able to pay that off on Monday with a bit of luck

Just had a bit of a rush of blood to the head, amended the payment for my drawings (due to be transferred on Monday) down to £1000 and PAID OFF THE BARCLAYCARD
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D As long as takings are good over the weekend, I'll be able to transfer the other £500 on the same day anyway, but this way I pay 3 days less interest! 0 -
Plus you get to gloat all weekend :j:j:j:j.
Well done

I can't believe it's December already. I've done a bit more present shopping today - all I need to get now are a few more small stocking fillers for Mr Minx and something for my brother and his other half. We've just been having a chat on the phone and have agreed to make it small presents this year, as they've just had to spend a small fortune on their roof (they live in a very old manor house) and we have the croft to buy in March.0
