Swipe me, it's cold here today
Sunny, but we had a hard frost overnight.
New month, new money anyway£1500 from the business account into the bills account and £570 into the personal overdraft from Mr Minx. And less than two weeks to go until the tooth fairy loan is paid off

On the face of it, not a good week because the business overdraft has gone up by £2,000 - BUT in the last 7 days that account has paid £1000 to the Barclaycard, £960 to the VAT man and £1500 to me, so I'm not too unhappy about it.

The problem is as soon as I get close I have to pay a big supplier bill or the VAT or me! Still, it wasn't that long ago that I was bouncing between £20k and £21k, so I'm happy to be lurking around £13k/£14k for now
Managed to get nearly £20 off this week's shop with a combination of vouchers that probably shouldn't have worked together, but scanned through the till OK. It was a bit of a spendy trip to town though - I bought a new hosepipe (the one between the outside tap and the bath in the first field developed its 7th leak in a 5 foot section, it was more tape than hose in places), a mineral lick holder for Finn's shelter, two new mineral licks (Merlin's had to be removed after it got bird droppings all over it when two swallows nested right above it earlier this year) and another bag of horse treats to carry on with Finn's foot-lifting training. Not hugely expensive - the hose was £19 and the horsey bits came to £13.49 - but it all adds up.
I seem to have an awful lot of business bills to pay this month, which is annoying because I really, really want to get rid of that last £2k on the card. I'll do my accounts tomorrow and work out what I have to take before I can start knocking lumps out of it.0 -
Well, that's Mr Minx's Christmas present sorted and his to me as well - we're collecting a new addition to the family in 2 weeks' time
Other than that, not much news to report. I didn't get the accounts done today, the weather was too good to be inside so I shovelled seven barrow loads of manure off the bottom section of the bottom field (now that Merlin has eaten a path through the old vegetable patch I can get to where the new muck heap is going to be - I have 7 weeks of droppings to catch up on down there ) and went for a run instead.0 -
I take it the new addition to the family is something to do with animals. Otherwise you've been keeping it very quiet. :rotfl:
You certainly know how to enjoy your Sunday, shovelling manure.June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

Well, since you asked so nicelyShe's a bit older than a puppy, but still very puppyish:

She's on foster in Yorkshire, but we're going to be down in Bolton and Bury the weekend after next visiting Mr Minx's elderly aunts, one of whom is in hospital, so we're collecting her on the way home. And I have about 10 days to dog-proof all my stock :eek::eek::eek:
Normally there'd be a mortgage payment update today, but IF's website is being sticky and doesn't want to let me see the actual interest figure, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.0 -
