Congratulations on the bonus! Very well deserved. I'm impressed with how conscientiously you approach all that you do.

Have I missed them or were there no scores last Friday????
No, you've not missed them - we had the power off most of the day and what with catching up with proofreading and bead orders, I never quite got round to doing them over the weekend
They may not get done on Boxing Day either, as we're off to my mother-in-law's for the day, but I promise I'll do them on Saturday at the latest this week, as I don't fancy another telling off from Gallygirl

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Couldn't resist....

So, the car went back to the garage today and had its 100,000 mile service, its MOT and its corroded brake pipes replaced. Grand total? £248
In less good news, we ended up doing three supermarket shops in a single day. First stop Tesco for the things we forgot on Saturday, then Lidl in an attempt to find some stollen (sold out
) and then back to Tesco this afternoon when we came back in to pick up the car because my mother-in-law had rung to say she wasn't feeling well and so could we do the food on boxing day instead of her please? We now have the ingredients for beef in red wine casserole and lemon & lime cheesecakes.
I forgot to give you an update on the fantasy spreadbetting account - I forgot to check it for a few days and two of my open bets got stopped out for a loss of £150. Think I'll stick to index trackers :rotfl:0 -
That's the last pre-Christmas file proofread and the last pre-Christmas order packed and posted. I've been proofreading in the living room in front of the fire and Mr Minx has been popping in and out from the kitchen with hot chipolata sausages - I could get used to this

Now time to gird my loins, make some sausage rolls and Friday's cheesecake.0 -
Good luck! (oh and have a fantastic Festive Season :xmastree:)Must use my stash up!0
