Mmmm, but then it only gives me 6 months to pay off the last £10k if I want it to be gone by my 40th. We'll see
I only started running four years ago in an attempt to find a cheap way of toning up for my wedding dress! Having spent most of my school years being the tubby one who was always picked nearly last at games, I wasn't holding out much hope, but I downloaded a Couch to 5K podcast and, much to my surprise, fell in love with it. I stopped for a couple of years due to dodgy knees, but when I started with the personal trainer this summer, he said that if I strengthened up the rest of my body, particularly thighs and core, I probably wouldn't have a problem running again and so far he's been right
I'm supposed to be doing 3 miles today, but looking at the weather I think I'm going to swap it with tomorrow's 30-60 minutes of mobility work and stretching!! The boys have got racks full of hay but decided to take themselves back out after breakfast, which is good in one way because it means their winter coats have grown in by a significant amount in the last fortnight.
One thing I forgot to write about yesterday is that my winter grazing has just doubled in size! Our neighbours-who've-moved-away have decided to sell their house after all, will probably be putting it on the market in the spring and have asked if I want to put my two on the fields around their house during the day so that they're eaten down nice and neat for when the photographs are taken next year. It's about 3.5-4 acres split into three fields, half of it was cut for hay this summer and is rather green, the rest is long, untouched hill grass. Merlin, who has been plotting various ways to get over or through the fence all summer, is going to be unbearably smug when I take them in tomorrow :rotfl: (Going to start in the middle field, which is the one with a gate through into our fields, but want to split it down first, as they're 'well-covered' enough without adding a whole acre of new-grown grass!)0 -
End of another long day. Not many orders, in fact I only banked £45
but there was a £166 credit card order through the website which will hit the bank on Thursday.
My PeoplePerHour account has been placed on hold because I didn't get two lots of four-star or better feedback during the first three months - it's unfortunately very hard to win a job with no feedback and the one person who did employ me via the site didn't want to go through the site for the work and asked me to invoice him directly. I have the option to reactivate it to bid again if I pay them £9.95 for a month or £6.95 a month for three months, but I'm thinking it might be a better idea to put that money into setting up my own website. What do you guys think?
Finally, I was catching up with bonnington's blog yesterday and today - bonnington (I have completely forgotten what your new name is on here, sorry!),I know you don't post here any more, but if you're still reading this diary, here's a big MSE dodgy cuddle :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: because you sound like you need one at the moment. Chin up, it will get better.0 -

Well, on the grounds of JFDI, I am now the proud owner of one domain name (couldn't believe that the one I thought up was free - the .com version is for sale for $20,000!) and one year's hosting for the grand total of £39. It may take me a while to wrangle a site into shape though.
I've spent the day in the usual manner. The boys had their first trip into next door's fields (or half of one of them) and despite the torrential rain barely raised their heads all day. They didn't make any fuss about coming back to my side either, but looking at the size of Finn right now, I think 15 minutes of in-hand work every night in the school might be a good idea :eek::eek:
Wednesday is supposed to be my stop-it-and-tidy-up afternoon, but I didn't really get much done today. I did manage to clear out my inbox and place a stock order, but that was about it. Ditto this evening, Mr Minx is away until Sunday and I was going to make tonight my night off and then work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, but it's ten past eight and I haven't turned the PS3 on yet.
So, with that, I'm going to leave you for Assassin's Creed0 -
I know the feeling re the round pony! Lol. Good luck.
I think I used wordpress for my site previously. Again, more good luck!

Seriously, he looks like a boa constrictor that's swallowed an antelope  Having got rid of his crest completely a couple of years ago, it's now back, but at least it's soft, so hopefully can be worked off. Happy boys though:0

Hi Caz,
Thanks for the hug (Was Mr.
I still read your diary. I have a few diaries which are emailed overnight and I read them over breakfast.
You are doing fabulously. :T

Hillside, that was it - knew I'd remember as soon as I saw it
Hope things get better ASAP for you :grouphug:
Am feeling pretty awesome tonight, because I've managed to type up a 35-minute file that was deemed unintelligible by two other typists. Okay, I have a bit of an advantage in that part of the reason for it was a strong Scottish accent and I live here, so am used to it, but I managed to improve the quality with a couple of tweaks as well and got about 98% of it down.
Bead sales have been SO slow this week. Not sure whether it's the effect of the neutral on my search standing or whether it's half-term down in Englandshire? Only just struggled over the £1,000 mark, which is Not Good, but according to YNAB I now have enough money aside for the supplier payment on the 25th (£578.90), the postage bill on the 29th (£874.73), the Terapeak and bank account fees on the 28th/30th (£16.50 and £5.00), the VAT bill on the 12th November (£774.28), £110.25 towards January's tax bill and about £20 plus change towards the courier I have to book on Monday to collect 65kg of stock from Hong Kong (I suspect I'm going to need a little bit more than £20 plus change :rotfl:). When those arrive, that'll put silver plated charm bracelets and silver plated 18" necklace chains back into stock and sales should get a boost from the people waiting for them. The Christmas flatbacks reached Inverness this morning, which means if AJG are doing the final leg I might, if I'm lucky, get delivery tomorrow.
Mr Minx has got to his brother's house, as evidenced by a very cheery photo of them both holding beers, so I'm going to go and dig in the freezer for something to eat. I've remembered that I bought some sprouts at the weekend, on the grounds that I'm only allowed to eat them when Mr Minx isn't here, so I'm going to have a whistleberry fest tonight:D:D
