Hey up I know the thought of accepting help can sometimes be hard but like others have said if you'd been reversed you'd have offered him too.
Speaking of travels are you flying up and doon (I think you might be) if not are you a-calling at your BIL.
You can see where I'm going with this I hope.......
Have a great weekend!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Love the link - what a fabulous thing to aim to have. My big girl needs a new saddle but the current one (older than me, re-flocked every year!) will have to do until I'm in a better situation. Love those saddles tho, esp for big girl who is getting on in years and may benefit from the idea. Thanks!
I'm still planning my DF day (you know fine well it won't work as planned, best laid plans and all that !)

I'm not flying, but I'm getting the coach from Inverness to London, so no chance to stop off I'm afraid:(:(
We've had guests to stay this weekend, which has been fabulousThey've never been this far north before and wanted to see John o'Groats - well, JoG is a bit like Land's End in that you get there and are generally disappointed, so we then went and did a bit of bird-watching at the proper most north-easterly point on the mainland, Duncansby Head, called in at home for some lunch and then took off west as far as the road goes, had fantastic hot chocolate at Cocoa Mountain in Balnakeil (remember the bit in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where Willy Wonka dips a mug into the chocolate river? Cocoa Mountain's hot chocolate is what I imagine that would have tasted like), larked around a bit on the beach there so they could say they'd at least seen Cape Wrath even if we didn't have enough time to get onto it, and then spent a magical hour wandering around Lotte Glob's sculpture croft on the way back home. I adore her moor singers, they're just so full of joy they make me smile every time I see them. That's another thing to save up for once I'm debt free, but they were £500 each last time she had some in her gallery and one on its own would be lonely...
Bead sales are picking up a bit - yesterday and today were both up on last year :T:T I'm going to be shutting down on Friday morning to go off and see my Mum, all the bills falling due while I'm away are covered apart from paying myself, but I've got enough in the YNAB buffer to pay all the direct debits and I can pay myself something later in the month.
Some proofreading work has just come in, so I'd better get on with packing these orders and then settle down to it0 -
Sounds like having your friends to stay has really boosted your sprits . Great news that bead sales have picked up a bit, would be such a shame for you to have to stop due to fleabay being so unhelpful.0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Another £335 banked this morning and an invoice sent for £160
I'm away to see Mum on Friday and that suddenly seems rather close. This is the list of things I have to get through between now and setting out to catch the train to Inverness on Friday lunchtime:- [strike]Ironing pile[/strike]
- Pack and post orders
- [strike]Proofreading[/strike]
- [strike]Proofreading invoice[/strike]
- [strike]Transcription invoice[/strike]
- Shut down shops
- [strike]Leave instructions for Mr Minx re: feeding horses[/strike]
- Pack
- [strike]Charge up Kindle[/strike]
- [strike]Use Amazon voucher to buy some holiday reading[/strike]
- [strike]Clear down the Sky+ box a bit[/strike]
- [strike]Stake up the tomatoes[/strike]
- [strike]Put PayPal app onto phone, as may need it to pay for my special riding lesson on Wednesday[/strike]
- [strike]Print off directions for riding lesson and how to get to my cousin's house from Truro station.[/strike]
- [strike]Print off coach tickets.[/strike]
Nationwide card statement arrived and was paid today, another £25 bite out of the debt elephant.0 -
Morning - another £240 banked today, so there's finally a little bit of cash allocated to paying me next month
Only £170 at the moment, but it's a start.
I'm getting through the list, very slowly. Today's orders are half packed and I'm currently doing a bit of proofreading. I managed to remove 5 hours of stuff from the Sky box thanks to waking up in the small hours and not being able to get back to sleep and hopefully should get rid of a bit more when I tackle the ironing pile this afternoon. Will report on progress later...0 -
Very pleased to hear about the improved bankings. The list is bringing me out in a cold sweat though - it's loooong! Good luck0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

No more proofreading on the evening shift, so I've been able to submit both my invoices for payment - £588 + VAT in total for the both of them
And a nice French customer has spent £178 on eBay with me this afternoon. She asked for a combined invoice, which I sent earlier. I really, really hope she pays it overnight, as at the moment I've only got two small unpaid orders which can easily come with me if needed, but that one would take up quite a bit of luggage space! If she does, that'll be another £20 nibble at the business overdraft and tomorrow's scores on the doors might look quite promising.
Good progress has been made with the list. All I have to do tomorrow is:- Feed and muck out the horses
- Close the shops
- Pack up the last orders
- Do scores on doors
- Pack suitcase
- Get travelling
