A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Oh, whoops, sorry, here you go!

Mr Finn was wondering why I was in the wrong field:
But Mr Merlin was more distracted by something further down the point

Hi Caz, love your pics. Was up in your neck of the woods on a UK trip a couple of years ago. Lovely area - so is Scotland in general! Like catching up on your diary - you seem very focused. Shall keep reading. Regards bl1

Ha! I'm afraid I have no connection to the place, the name comes from a friend's son who said I looked like the Tazmanian Devil when I played table tennis with him because my hair flew everywhere - since my name is Caroline, he decided I was the Cazmanian Devil! My ex husband used to call me Minx and the two together make a username that no-one else is likely to have picked on a forum (there are other Cazmanians and Cazmanian Devils!), so it kind of stuck
I think I may be getting some karma returned for something I did on Friday. When we were at Tesco on Friday, something caught my eye in the car park as I was coming back from stashing the trolley at the collection point. It was a £20 note. I picked it up, then saw another one and another one - after a bit of running around in the wind I ended up with £100 in £20s. There was no-one running back for it and for a split second I was tempted to keep it - and, to be honest, if it had been a fiver I probably would have, but £100 was probably someone's entire week's shopping budget, so I did the right thing, went back inside and handed it in at customer services. Anyway, long story short, I woke up this morning to find that two regular customers had spent £550 between them on eBay overnight, which will net me about £100 in profit
Out of the stuff I put on eBay last weekend, I've sold a book for £3.99, a stack of romance novels for £9.99 and am waiting to see if any of the four watchers bid on my Griffin Nuumed numnah in the next hour and a quarter. The rest failed to sell. I've put a whole crate of books on Amazon this afternoon, but I'm not optimistic about their chances to be honest. I'll give them a couple of weeks and then it's off to the charity shop with them.
I got some more of yesterday's sheep photos processed. I was using the same lens that EssexHebridean has just bought and she was talking over on her diary about how good the bokeh (the particular way the lens blurs the out-of-focus bits in the background) was - that's one of the reasons I love it too
I think this is my favourite from yesterday. It's crying out for some text on the right though and I can't think of anything appropriate!

How about something along the lines of
"The past is a blur, look towards your future?"
I know you're a writer so will think of a better phrase but that sheep looks wistful

She does, doesn't she?? Thank you for the suggestion
Well, ladies and gents, I have a couple of very happy things to report, so can I have a big WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO please?
Woooohooo Number One: £1165 banked from PayPay this morning
:D:D:D:D
Woooohooo Number Two: I had an email from the transcription company. Hello Caroline, and many thanks for your application. I am delighted to tell you that we would like to put you on the books as a trainee and get you started as soon as possible.
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I've done all the paperwork this afternoon and am booked in for my first shift on Wednesday
On the slightly less wooohooo-ish side, my sacro-iliac joint appears to have gone for a wander again
When I went for my sports massage the other week, she found a lump in my back which wasn't muscle. It hadn't been sore up until that point, but when she touched it I nearly hit the ceiling and it's been tender ever since. So I have an appointment with the osteopath next week to get it crunched back into place again. I've had this done a couple of times and it's really not pleasant, but it works and I haven't had to have it done for nearly 6 years, so it does sort it for a while. (I wouldn't have to have it done now if I hadn't been taken out sideways by a wheelbarrow and two hay bales!) At least the transcription work will pay for it! 0 -
Serious WooHoo ness there! apart from the pain
Must use my stash up!0
