Boodle - what's Pacific Pie?
Hi JustamumIts the name of a dish I used to make years ago before being vegan. It was based on tinned tuna. This is our current version of it
On the post to Chickien mentioned this is approx what I'll do: "the pacific pie is just dried soya flakes, a sheesy sauce (blitzed sheese + soya milk), nori, probs smoked paprika + a little tomato puree, veggies, + topped with pots again. Hope that helps
" It's a sloppy fork-to-mouth dinner :rotfl:
Love and compassion to all x0 -
Really need to meal plan.
Tonight: HM pizza for me & kids and pasta with LO pesto for DH (to use up the pesto!)
Tomorrow: prawn noodle stir fry
Friday: LO lamb curry with rice and chapatis
Saturday: roast pork with all the trimmings, maybe a crumble
Sunday: battered fish from freezer with HM potato wedges and peas0 -
Another change to tonight's dinner! Should have been carbonara but DH rang me this morning and told me his friend went fishing last night and had given him 5 sea bass and could I go up to his work and collect them and get them home to wash and freeze. So I've frozen 4 and we're having the biggest one tonight for dinner - really looking forward to it, haven't had bass for ages.

Thanks for the info Boodle, I'm definitely going to try layering potatoes on top of something in the slow cooker!!The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.0
