Well it's a good job homeless said nothing of the sort, and indeed, no one else did either.

Foxy said "If we are not carefull we are going to spend the next decade mollycoddling the over indebted homeowner while the UK gets worse"

There are different ways of interpreting that I suppose but saying he didn't say that isn't one of them.

You questioned if ALL homeowners were mollycoddled and over indebted. You then wrote it off as a soundbite.

Clearly homeless stated "mollycoddling THE over indebted". Therefore he was directly targetting the ones who ARE overindebted. Not ALL homeowners.

Are all homeowners over-indebted and mollycoddled? It's just that it's sounds like a tired soundbite with no substance.

I think you know this. But you also know how to dampen arguments and remove all context to make your own point. It's not hard to read what was said. If you can't understand it, then I apologise, but i'd find it extremely difficult to accept you can't understand the written word.

    It's ok GD:)

I am getting used to his disingenous replies, and creating issues that are not there. Of course I do not mean all homeowners, and while we are at it I don't dislike homeowners in any way either.

What wotsthat cannnot get into his thick skull is that I might say something on the lines that sellers need to do this or that, but the actual choice they make is fine by me, nothing to do with me.
Wotsthat is trying his hardest to allways create an us and them conflict, and I really cannot be !!!!** with him anymore.

I understand now. To you nothing of the sort = identical bar a single word.

What do you think he means when he says "mollycoddling THE over indebted home owner"?

We've all know Foxy long enough to know he actually means ALL because he only deals in black and white and isn't very sophisticated.

Oh, if it's a prejudice problem, and you are looking for alterior motives behind everything thats stated, even down to the point to which you suggest he can't possibly have used "the over indebted" to define those who are over indebted......then we really are at a loss.

I guess you'll just have to carry on arguing with him over something he never stated, but you have told him he has.

Great agument....you'll always win....in your own head.

I said I thought you were wrong and said why. No need to get yourself in a Tiswas about it. Have a lie down if it's all getting a bit too much.

The word pedantic always springs to mind when you post:)
  • Oh, if it's a prejudice problem

    Not at all.

If you say "the indebted homeowner", it's implied that a homeowner is by definition indebted.

And also 'careful' only needs one f.

But I think you knew this.

What like asking why he thinks the biggest problem in the property market are deluded sellers? I'm still waiting to be enlightened.

He appears to be in the early stages of a flounce - it's amazing what you can catch on the internet.

    Here we go again:)

I am really quite fine, REALLY!!
But yet again it suits your delusional little mind and story telling to have your oppostion and enemy seething with anger on the other end of cyberspace, but it really is'nt happening sweetheart.

YOU are the one that always makes it personal, YOU are the one that always gets over emotive, and YOU are always the one attacking the person whose views(bearish) it is quite obvious you despise.

I would ask anyone to look at my stuuf on here which is ALWAYS on the subject of property and then a short while later like an aggresive little gnome Wotsthat appears with endless examples of menatl issues that I have now been diagnosed with.

What can't you at least be honest, YOU just hate anyone who posts anything bearish on property, why can't you be honest??
