The simple rule is: book your flight and then don't look at the price again.
This is very good advice. Such good advice that I failed to take it myself, and discovered that a flight I booked for my daughter for August with BA is now £400 more than when I booked it in December. I'm hoping they won't be ringing me and asking for more.

    Similar here.

I paid £2,777 for NCL - YVR / LAX - NCL Club World (2 pax) in the BA sale.

The very same flights are now over £7,000.

There were some fantastic prices for other destinations as well.

Thanks all for taking the time to reply. I deliberately didn't look up the prices again after booking in fear that this might happen. However, my mother in law decided to come and told us the flight price had gone down. I phoned BA and they were very nice and looked into it for me but, no joy. Not to worry, as someone said, I'm sure I'll have a great time anyway.

    Thank again all.

Why did you look again :(

    PS
How did you get on trying for an upgrade at ballys in Vegas in feb, using the $20 trick, any trip report?

Didn't get an upgrade as such but did get a massive room with a view of the Paris Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio Fountains so was very happy with that. (She didn't take the $20 either)
