Feeling like finally back on track, got internet backing set up, I find if I can see the figures its a lot easier. also set it up on my mortage so those account tidy ups will be getting pushed across as over payments. Just come back from the usa, so uggs bought and now have everything I need for the next 12 months I think .... on a dit to so that will let me squeeze back into my clothes and save some pennies.
new years resolutions:
undertake weekly account tidys
wear up all old clothes
swap clothes
go out once a month as a "big do"
find a a new job
find a new man
stop going on asos drunk!
walk more.
do a bulk shop once a month and eat from that
no buying food at work!
hope everyones entering into the new year as positively as I am.

Hi MC,
I really feel for you. I was in a long term relationship and got completely scr3wed over when we split. Partly my fault as I was in such a bad place I had no fight in me. So at the age of 44 I had to take on a mortgage and start all over again. That really hurt.
So there I was with a new and huge (to me) mortgage, and a single mum. Luckily I was working. My older son was at uni so I was doing my best to help I'm out and younger son seemed to have school trip requests all the time. It's been tough.
Things are getting slightly better now, though I still have the occasional panic. Reading all the stories on here has really spurred me on to get a proper grip on my finances as I feel like I have been struggling for most of my life and it would be great to feel some sense of financial freedom and control.
Divorce is never nice and it's really upsetting when the other party plays cruel. I hope you're ok.0 -
