Theire network is combined with that of Orange now, and as a result is the UKs largest I believe.
And Three's 3G network as well - http://www.mbnl.co.uk/about.htm
Virgin use Orange/T-Mobile (Everything Everywhere) signal as well so wherever you can get signal for them, you can get signal for Virgin.0 -

I'm on Pay monthly 10 (100 mins, 100 texts, 3GB). Been on it for 2 1/2 years and tether my tablet by using my phone as a wifi hotspot reasonably frequently (in fact, quite often have my tablet and Mrs F's netbook connected through the hotspot at the same time). Works a treat. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I'd like to know more about the costs of tethering, please. I've just looked at my Vodafone bill and noticed that I've been charged £4+ for 'out of package' charges.
This was for one brief occasion when I switched on the hotspot function in my iPhone to see if it would work.
I think it's time to switch!
But my question is not just whether all the networks allow tethering, but do they charge extra for it, please?0 -
Three allow tethering on the One Plan at no extra cost, as do T-Mobile on their Full Monty.
O2 seem to allow it on all their plans at no extra cost according to this - http://blog.o2.co.uk/home/2011/09/o2-tethering-five-things-you-never-knew.html0 -
Hey there,
We (T-Mobile) dont include tethering on the sim only Full Monty Plans (£26/£31) but is it fully inclusive and 100% unlimited on the Full Monty plans (£36+) which come with handset. infact we currently have an offer on a Free Samsung Galaxy S2 with the £36 plan discounted to £26 per month.

Thank you. That's very interesting news about O2. Shame about T-mobile since I don't need a new phone.0

Unless you're phone is tmobile branded, how would tmobile know if you were tethering??0
