On mysupermarket there is a new button which says "price alert" - I am not sure how this works - does it do as it says on the tin, alert you if the price falls?
Or alert you if there is any change in price in any store???

Is this new or have I jsut missed it?

Walking to Sainsburys yesterday I found a 24p brand match MOC on the side of the kerb by the zebra crossing - deep joy. It was even in date :D
Isn't it great when you find something like that? even though it's only 24p, it's free money so I don't understand why people throw the BM's away. I'll gladly take all the free brand match vouchers from S:D

I never dare to forage for mushrooms, but I do love blackberrying, chestnutting, cobnutting etc! Looking forward to raspberry season though, mine are coming along quite nicely, along with my blueberries! Have quite a productive garden: Blackcurrants, redcurrants, rhubarb, blueberries, tayberries and raspberries. Also hopefully tomatoes. Would have had onions but the sparrows won that battle!!!

Had lovely dinner, a bit of an experiment, put some emmental cheese on top of chicken breasts and wrapped them in bacon, popped them into the oven for 35 minutes, along with some roast spuds and some mixed mediterranean veg (curtesey of Aldi!!). Was very nice! Was a big treat as did not depend on woopsies!

Went to Mr A today and there was a bit of a scene at whoopsie time.
First of all the fruit and veg was all taken by one lady who slung it all at the lad and he dutifully put 10p stickers on it all, then she started pointing at things and just saying "that"...in the end he refused to do any more and she flounced off. We started talking about it and he said she is in there every day and thinks he works solely for her.
Later at the meat aisle there was one lady who tried to snatch a piece of steak out of my hand and told me it was already hers, I politely explained that it was already in my hand and no, she should not try to snatch. She then turned to a man next to me that had picked up an identical piece of meat and said "thats mine", he told her to get lost and she went on her way with her dozen or so packs.
Finally, on final reductions they had bought out loads of other things and all were being marked 10p so really hard to actually get near the counter but one lady had a full trolley and she was snatching every single item.
On closer inspection I noticed the trolley was entirely filled with 10p items and the sa was telling her she was not allowed any more as it was unfair.
She ignored him and kept loading the trolley and all of a sudden he made a call and the store manager, security and two more sa people arrived and took her to one side.
It turns out she does this daily and they warned her that they could take some of it away or something.
She started getting really angry so they led her to the till and advised her that she would have to buy every item in the trolley.
She got really flustered and was seen later at the tills with a very worried look on her face.
The sa that served me said she does all sorts from changing labels to returning things back to reduced to get more discounts.
It was quite scary but I was really pleased that they are cracking down as I had stopped looking for reductions as it was a closed shop.
Finally got some nice figs for 10p any ideas what to use them for???

:eek::eek: I don't think I'd bother hanging around the reductions if i found people like that. How rude? Mine is soooo civilised it's untrue. One lady (who always seems to be there) stands at the front and offers whatever the Sa has put on the shelf "anyone want these chicken drumsticks", "ooh, yes please", "who wants this lamb? would you mind if i take it?" kind of thing. It makes me snigger like a schoolgirl.

Yet if i go to another T less than 5 miles away, it's like the vultures and the hyenas are fighting each other..
