JJ, hope you're very careful at deciding what is what when you're foraging!

  • Evening all - no finds on the south coast to report. Thoughts go to all those in need of a helping hand esp 3Dogs and those needing a bit of a break from here (you are missed)xx

FK - your photography is astonishing, hope you don't mind me suggesting something but Countryfile announced a wildlife photography comp tonight and your pics would take a lot of beating..

No it was the edge of a rapeseed field so already done. I did pull out a few long straggly strands of grass thats about it. The poppies have over exposed a bit but hey ho.

:o:oWhy did I think it was 1 point for 4 cans?:cool: The thing I don't like though is it doesnt give you a receipt for the points (Stood their like a right lemon waiting for something to come out:o) So I'm going to make a list of all the times I go just in case they forget my points;)

hmm that's a bit stupid not to give you a receipt!
definitely worth noting, as Mr T are so reliable;)

    VERY careful!!!

Today's dinner was pasta bake with YS steak mince, foraged sea beet and ramsons...
...Followed with pancakes drizzled with foraged wild rose petal jelly that I made last week...
...washed down with elderflower and rose petal cordial that I also made last week!!! ;)

OH thinks I'm nuts as I photograph everything i collect and cook.
(I'd love to blog about the subject but it would become obsessive:o)

I am so into this free, fresh n organic foraging. It's kinda why I've been absent on the thread. I'm out the taking the kids on different walks every scrap of leisure time we have. Trying to scout the area for later harvests. ;)

yes someone did. forgot who it was:o but someone's OH got a telling off by a member of staff in the car park. I personally think that if I went to Asda (don't often) that everybody does it!

Even when I went into London for therapy the other day and got the 25p bolognese (very nice btw:T) I saw someone checking the car park for receipts, looked obvious.

I'm pretty sure it isn't illegal..
