Great post. I used to listen every Friday when he was on Talk Radio and it was wonderfully lifting and a great start to the weekend. It was not always the big things but the small things that lift your heart and put your faith back into humanity
Thanks for the lovely reminder:A:A:A:A:ADid anyone used to listen to "The Wonderful Hour" I think it was about 3pm on a Friday on LBC with Tommy Boyd ?
Being a Friday afternoon approaching the end of the working week he felt it was a good time for people to reflect on how lucky they were, tell little anecdotes of nice things that had happened to them.
For example the baby took its first steps, a random stranger gave them a £5 note, husband bought flowers for no reason, they had something to look forward to at the weekend, these aren't very good examples but hopefully you know what I mean, so lets dig deep & think of a few nice things that have happened to us

Morning all
Just entered my codes for the free kids swim towel on the promotional packs of kelloggs frosties.
They are on offer at £1 in T's at the mo and in my store they are giving away the free cereal bowls with every purchase.
You need to buy 3 of the promotional packs and enter the codes on the inside of the box. Then it's just £1 to pay towards the postage.
So three boxes of frosties, three cereal bowls and a towel all for £4
Off to catch up
ETA: 'twas m4ryh1ll if it helps anyone
I saw a store where DOZENS of various kellogs cereal boxes were whoopsied. I suspect it was all because someone had opened them up for the code and then put them back!!! They were half price with a long shelf life
I got some bargains off the back of it though and dont mind not getting a towel. Would have been nice if that store had any of the bowls as i could have gotten them free if they did
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Hi all just catching up.
Where was my invite to the FB party last night
This is probably store specific but thought worth posting, 2 litres of carplan demon shine was 97p! Yellow sel b/c end 37386.
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
