Also, Rooted Nomad or anyone else, re the floppers, if ther item is half price do you only need to take into account the old price for the flopper to work? I know it works with "2 for £X" but not sure about this.

Thanks in advance, hope everyone's having a nice day...

I've sadly never really got to grips with floppers on multi-buys, but I think if the item is half-price then this is the amount that the till "sees", not the "old" price so don't think this would work?

sadly me neither :( But was fun looking and trying them all out - thank you Daisy Duck :) - didn't realise there were so many kicking about. My £10 off code is valid for a couple of weeks so think I will hang fire a week or so to see what pops up.

My OH has gone up there on the train, meeting his Sheffield friend. I have told him not to buy any ketamine off any scallys. I feel like his mum sometimes, I expect he'll just drink beer anyway.

 I hope he'll just drink beer

Did anyone used to listen to "The Wonderful Hour" I think it was about 3pm on a Friday on LBC with Tommy Boyd ?

Being a Friday afternoon approaching the end of the working week he felt it was a good time for people to reflect on how lucky they were, tell little anecdotes of nice things that had happened to them.

For example the baby took its first steps, a random stranger gave them a £5 note, husband bought flowers for no reason, they had something to look forward to at the weekend, these aren't very good examples but hopefully you know what I mean, so lets dig deep & think of a few nice things that have happened to us

Lets all look up instead of down we have so much to be thankful for even in troubled times in our lives
