Did anyone used to listen to "The Wonderful Hour" I think it was about 3pm on a Friday on LBC with Tommy Boyd ?

Being a Friday afternoon approaching the end of the working week he felt it was a good time for people to reflect on how lucky they were, tell little anecdotes of nice things that had happened to them.

For example the baby took its first steps, a random stranger gave them a £5 note, husband bought flowers for no reason, they had something to look forward to at the weekend, these aren't very good examples but hopefully you know what I mean, so lets dig deep & think of a few nice things that have happened to us

Lets all look up instead of down we have so much to be thankful for even in troubled times in our lives

Nice things to have happened to me this week-

I had a thank you letter from a patient

I wasnt the fattest person in the pool when i went swimming

Sorry to quote oneself, but i would also like to add this-

The amount of love and support that has been on here in the last few days has possibly been one of the nicest things i have seen for a long, long time

Been to QVC Outlet & got a 100% down super king duvet for £44.50 :eek::eek: :D:D:D:D

(unfortunately QVC had mistakenly labelled it as a Mattress topper ;);) :D:D:D )

Also say you know that DTD can only be given if the wind is blowing in a North Easterly direction, and that the customer has paid with £1 coins whilst singing the national anthem and wearing orange speedo's on there head

Thats where i went wrong for a while. My speedos were blue! :rotfl:!
