Well, believe it or not, but I've had the forms for early discharge through - they were sent 4th September. As we both went BR on the same day (and at the same place) I think you should be hearing something very soon. Fingers crossed and all :)

    Well done, Neko. :T :T
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

    Hey Neko,

You kept that quiet; I might never have seen that unless I'd gone for a peek at wdiag's diary.

Congratulations and all the best for the rest of the "journey".

Oh, well done, Neko. :j After all the hassle they gave you, they've come good in the end. :)
  • 16 Sept - They were filming near my local Asda today, & needed someone to make appreciative noises while sampling food, & chat a bit - it's for a spoof on the Asda ads. No-one else would offer, & they were running out of light & time, so I seized the opportunity - gobby mare that I am, I volunteered, then said I'd do it provided I got one pack of whatever I had to taste. Well, if you don't ask you don't get, & I could see they were pushed for time - I had to sing a bit to sweeten the deal, but we shook hands on it. :p I am now the proud owner of what looks like half a large salmon that I have no idea how to cut up, a pack of Anchor butter, some potted herbs, some jacket potatoes, & a bag of salad! Now I just need to find out when they're doing filming for lamb joints - I could do with one of those & all the trimmings. :D
  • Good on you! it pays to be cheeky clearly! Well done!
  • Cor, sounds like you have the makings of a dinner party there! lol You should of asked them to throw in a bottle of wine to , you would have been all set then! Well done..........:)
So, when, where, and who will show it?
  • I don't know yet - it's for some sort of comedy show. They wouldn't say what or when, as they weren't prepared to pay (I'd have asked for Equity rates, but I felt I was already pushing my luck :D) & didn't want to commit themselves to anything. For all I know, it may end up as just an idea in their heads that never get off the ground in the end, but at least I got some stock for my freezer out of it. :D
  • Wayhay well done..you couldn't have asked for more really, smoked salmon etc.... did you have to slap your bottom at the end lol?
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(
  • 24 Sept - Made my IPA payment for this month, again before the due date. I asked CW if the ORs get some sort of statement showing the payments made on the account, & was told that it's a live system so the ORs can log in at any time & see whether payments are being made, when & how much. The man told me that payments usually show up on the system within a couple of hours - I'm glad about that, as I want my OR to know I'm making my payments early when I do them, not a month or more later. :D
