We are looking to use the Sun holidays for the first time, is it easy to apply and has anyone got any useful advice.

we dont drive so would be looking at uk holiday park getting there by coach or train and would have to have all activities close by. OR abroad by flight and again not driving so everything close by.
we have 3 kids ages 9, 4 and 3 so family friendly would be good aswell!
    thanks in advance

Hello, you're in the same boat as us. We have a little one, it's our first Sun Holiday token collection and we also don't drive. There are lots of parks that are near train and coach stations, such as Bognor Butlins (which I believe is 0.6miles from the train station) and I think by coach, you're literally dropped IN or right near some of the parks and that goes for quite a few of the parks. Just takes a bit of research.

Here's what we do to see which parks are near a station and how far.
I would recommend looking at the area you want to visit, googling the park to get the post code, then go to Transport Direct which allows you to search for the train and coach stations around your park. This helped us weed out the parks that were too far from transport. It's a bit long winded but after a while, you get into the gist of copy and pasting post codes and ticking and crossing the different parks! Then once you have a few parks that suit you, it's a good idea to pop onto Trip Advisor to read reviews and popping to the parks website to view the facilities.

You have to be a slight Columbo :)

    Hope that helps.

there are nearly 300 parks in the UK and Europe ,you need to be a tad more specific in your needs / area lol !

To those who have been before, did you opt for UK travel insurance? I'm looking at the priority form I received and there's a box for insurance for £9.50 per booking saying they strongly recommend it (I'm sure a lots to do with their commission but I must admit its something I've never thought of). I've been away in the UK hundreds of times before and never taken it.
