    You cannot have cheaper, reliable motoring on this level for the money.

    Just give the bodywork a very good scurinise on the Mondeos. Got shut ofa really badly rusting 2002 Mk3 last year.

    I'd personally say diesel Skoda Octavias are far better.

    Thanks all for your input, been back today and decided none of them lol, my sister came with me had a drive said yes its a nice car but yoou could get more for your money! When she did a hard brake as well it pulled to the left!

    they all do that sir, its a safety feaure so you only kill a pleb on the sidewalk rather than hitting an oncoming car:D

    I have the 2004 civic, 1.7 diesel. very economical, very happy at 70 on the motorway (gets 60ish mpg), can get 70mpg at 60mph. room for 5 adults, great car!

    My old man works for peugeot and i had 2 307's on lease in 2006, and both were in and out of the garage with electrical faults, and they were brand new cars.
    He says the 206, 207, 307 and 407 have kept him in a job with the amount of faults on them, it's only with the newer models, such as the 308, 508 and 3008 that Peugeot are starting to get better...
