Arghhh, just think how great life would be if you didn't have to have the ghastly thoughts, restrictions, and life that working forced on you? All the freedom to do things you enjoy, the freedom to do things at your own pace, and not be subjected to the vile labour market. Not having to deal constantly with people you don't like, or do mindless tasks which reward you in no manner whatsoever. Being able to spend all of your time on something that interests you, stimulates you, or just what feels good and right at that time.

But the reality of life is that we are subjected to the labour market that ceaselessly transforms, at all costs, human energy, human thought, human existence, the earth beneath our feet, into nothing worth anything.

Williamcornwall's kept his ideas pretty close to his chest, obv not keen to share the secret of his not working with anyone else. Perhaps he's about to start signing on??

Well, I need to work to be able to have the house over my head and eat and get up to the various things I enjoy doing and I'm fortunate to be in a career which involves helping people every day. If I won the lottery and didn't have to work I'd still want to be doing something worthwhile with my life that involved helping people in some way as this is something I've been inherently driven to do to make my life feel like it's of any value. Additionally, I find when I'm left to my own devices I become very lazy - whilst I believe I would enjoy working a little less in the week - when I have nothing to restrict my time I feel like I have all the time in the world and as a result, a lot of things just don't get done or get put off for a while. So yes, I feel like I need to be doing something and if it wasn't employed work it would likely be voluntary work of some kind.
