Is it the weekend yet?!?
Nowhere near a NSD yesterday or today
Had bought a pair of beige linen trousers a couple weeks ago from DV8. £22.99 down to £11.50!!Had them on me for the first time last night and just thought 'OMG these are perfect' : fit and sooooo comfy!
Went to DV8 at lunch time there and found a white pair in my size - now down to £6.90! :j How could I not buy them?!?!?!
Applied for a First Direct account yesterday so fingers crossed it goes through ok and I'll get my £100 in a month or two
OH away at the Grand Prix today so up to me to cook dinner for me and the girls. Chicken curry! All I use is double cream and hot curry powder (and chicken - duh!) for the curry. And add in some red onion before I serve my own. The girls absolutely love it! Rice and some garlic naan bread. Mmmmm tasty

Happy Friday :hello:
Not a NSD today again. Stopped for cappucino on way into work. Have an appointment to get legs and eyebrows done. Didn't bring any lunch in with me. And probably have to do a food shop later with OH
Great start to the weekendlol
Chicken curry last night was YUMMY! Everyone cleaned their plates. Success(and alive to tell the tale today which is a bigger bonus :rotfl:)

Just listed a dozen items on ebay which I'm well pleased with
Couldn't sleep so figured I'd make myself useful!
Fingers crossed at least some of the stuff sells!
Need to sleep but not feeling tired. Can someone please turn my brain off so I can stop thinking for a few hours......?!?!??!?!?!? :eek:Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Decided this morning I was going to make a conscious effort and have a NSD!! So far so good, although it is only 9.25am! :rotfl:
I have managed NSDs before, but it would've been a case of heading to bed and then thinking 'oh! I didn't spend anything today', as opposed to deciding in the morning I'll do without. That make sense?!
So....
NO quick nipping to Poundland during morning tea break.
Was at Tesco's the last 2 days at lunch time so NO food shopping today.
Going to my sisters at lunch time so that'll stop me wandering aimlessly around shops. Plus I'll get a (free!!) cuppa
Have already bought my dad's birthday card (and stamps!) so can get that posted today without any spending
Won't be anywhere this evening (as far as I know) so should be ok
Have a few watchers on my ebay stuff, but can't always go by that: have to wait til there's actual bids before I start spending that extra money!!!
Applied for the First Direct account to get my £100. Only problem now is identifying meHow on earth are you supposed to supply documents with your name and address when you move in with your partner and all bills are in their name, and then you're trying to be economical and have all bank statements emailed to you to save paper?!? They don't accept online stuff! So kinda stuck on that one now

:j Yay! Managed my NSD yesterday
May possibly manage another one today if all goes according to plan!
Hope you're all doing well
EDIT:
So! There goes my NSD....

Hello
Sold 5 of the 12 items I'd listed :j They all went for the bottom price which is a bit pathetic but def better than nothing. Plus it'll clear up a wee bit of space in the cupboard!!
1 more item ending in a couple hours, 1 watcher and no bids...
EDIT:
Nope. No bids on that one
Various sizes of stuff to post so figure bubble wrap plus brown paper from Poundland should suffice...Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Happy Thursday anyone?
Got my 5 items posted. Had charged a total of £16 postage on all 5 items. Postage came to £10.20, plus I spent £4 in Poundland on brown paper, bubble wrap, bubble envelopes and parcel tape. Really didn't make much on the postage unfortunately. Oh well. Wee bit more space in the cupboard...!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
I was really into eBaying at one point but I always, always hated doing it.
It's more about getting things out of the house than ££ making I think, but every penny helps!Total Debt Sept 2010 - £24,132.38 / Current - £0.00/ 100% paid
DFD - [STRIKE]Aug 2014[/STRIKE] 24th Aug 2012
£10 a day // Jun - £64/£300 / Jul - £133/£310 / Aug - £281/£3100 -
Yeah. Space is good
The £ is a bonus
But the hassle is just head frying!
Carrying 5 parcels to work this morning was sore on the arms after a 25 min walk. The good thing is that the Post Office is 2 doors down from work. Means then I was able to nip out and check if there was a queue before standing for hours
...and have agreed to do an Apprenticeship in Business Admin through work. Which means... free qualification! :T
(just means I'm stuck in this job for min of 1 year after I finish so I don't have to pay tutor/registration/exam/certification fees back)
