Look after no1! I am still learning that the hard way!

LOVE love your new bike! Love the matt black....very cool!

And it's alright to spend money on a holiday! I've given myself the rule where it is alright to spend the money if A) you have it and B) you have/get something to show from it! Like a holiday or bike or something! I had 6k on a credit card and literally nothing to show for it! Went on junk! X

I'm def working on looking after moi :D;)

Yeah I'm loving my bike!! In 3 days I did roughly 50 miles. Which is rather impressive for me!! lol. Have got myself a few of the accessories I'm wanting but still a few to get. Always money! money! money! :p

But at least I've something to show for it ;)

HAW, don't see being emotional as a bad thing. Unfortunately though sometimes some people see that as a weakness and try (even inadvertently) to exploit it. OH and I were at SIL's a few days ago and she knew it was OH's birthday this weekend (its her brother) and yet no card. Yet we never miss her families birthdays, one recently we gave a card and money. I never got a card for mine from them neither did SS. Yet if we miss theirs (once we were sending a card and it was delayed by a postal strike so it didn't arrive in time) we wouldn't hear the end of it.

    Did you enjoy the fireworks?

    Hello :D

Always the way, isn't it?! :(

Yes the fireworks went well :) Had a good wee night.

Sorry for not posting sooner, but a heck of a lot has been happening. Just trying to get through every day in one piece at the minute. Need to stay strong for OH and the girls.

Back soon!! Hope you're all ok :)

Thanks all for your messages and support :)

We're really in need of a break, so trying to arrange a night away for us all this weekend, but it's mid-summer and all hotels are booked out! :( Doesn't help that we need a family room either :o If we can't get somewhere booked, we'll try to hit the road early Sat morning to hang out and do 'stuff' :)

HAW, what about a caravan or cottage rather than a hotel?

  • Thanks unix. Have been having a look about for that too, but again, short notice, plus coz it's only 1 night it's harder than usual. Most cottages etc would have minimum 2-3 night stay.

Had a wee girlie night last night when OH went to his boys club. We watched The Proposal. Love the film and I think all that laughing was just what we needed :D

Hopefully getting to the cinema this weekend all of us: Smurfs 2 or Monsters Uni! ;) Am in the process of arranging some spa/pampering for us girlies too. Have told them it'll do as their birthday pressies :)

    How is everybody else?

We're off to cinema as well HAW, tomorrow to see wolverine. I'll be stocking up on some munchies for tomorrow on the way home tonight.

  • Hey unix :) Seen on your diary that you seen Wolverine - and you weren't impressed! I'm busting to see it coz I love all the other Xmen films, so will be gutted if it's crap!! :p

(hopefully things have settled down in your house too! Bit of a stressful weekend for you too...)

We made it to McDonald's Friday night then went to see Monsters University. I would def recommend it! Hilarious! :D:D

Sorry for the vagueness of my posts recently! Just so much going on...

3 weeks ago there was a 'thing' with me and my sister :(
2 weeks ago I had a 'friend' hurt me and let me down big time :(
Last week DD2 was in hospital :(

Thankfully everybody is alive and well, and things are settling down at home, but it's been very stressful for everyone. We all just gotta take it one day at a time and move forward :)

As the title of my post says, New day. New week. New attitude. Gotta get that happy smiley face back on me again! :)

On a more positive note, once I post this, I'm away off to update my signature....
party0002.gif I HIT MY 12 MONTHS FIRST DIRECT TARGET party0002.gif

I honestly never thought I'd be able to do it! I'm so proud of myself! :D:D:D Just gotta wait for another month for the money to be transferred into my current account, plus approx £124 interest!! :D:D:D

Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend.
