I thought "phil & ted" was rhyming slang for a bed. I got even more confused when something about wheels was mentioned.
:rotfl::rotfl: Exactly what I thought, and then I just went into meltdown when I read about the tyres being pumped up:eek:
I had visions of a lovely divan with alloy wheels and low profile tyres and fluffy dice hanging from the headboard;)0 -

:rotfl: its my fault, i spend so much time with toddlers i forget everyone doesnt know the names of every buggy!]0 -
I'd also think of it as a favour! I stripped ours chucked it in washing machine and sold it for £200. I bought it for £220 (2nd hand) and used it for about 3 yrs. They are really sort after (unlike Nans electric wheelchair) Put it on gumtree for £100 and i bet it would sell 10 times over.DFW Nerd #awaiting number - Proud to be dealing with my debts!
Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

No brainer. Go get it back and stick it on ebay or gumtree and make decent money. It really isn't that much hassle is it??0

Take it back. tell her you've spent the money (which you have) and you'll give her a refund when you've resold it.
Surely it's worth the hassle of selling it on ebay to be able to tell her you got £100 for it as you hand back her £25?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
my friend has a P&T and couldnt be doing with the hassle of ebay, she put hers on a local facebook selling page asking for offers and stated that it was pick up only, it was on for an hour at tops and she was rid of it that same morning, she got 100 from a friend of a friend but she could of sold it for more if she hung on a bit.Skint, but happy (ish):p0

How to get a pig back in its sty: Push it away from the sty.
I would be telling her I had an offer for £125, here's your £25 and I want the P&T back now.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I know i could have/still could sell it for more, but i hate the whole timewasting, nitpicking attitude that buyers can have and because i wasnt out any money (and had almost two years use from it) due to the surestart grant, i just left it sitting there.
So it never really was 'for sale' she knew i had one and asked to buy it, i guess i was trying to be nice - and since i was looking for a small stroller thought i'd just cover that cost.
honestly i want nothing to do with the woman anymore, its been nitpicking from the start and when i asked her when she took it was she happy with it, it was like 'we'll see'.... whatever that meant. I even offered to take it back then.
Probably if it was actually faulty i would have just taken it back to avoid the hassle, but its fine, she just doesnt like the way it pushes, being a 3-wheeler and all
I couldnt care less if she makes a fortune out of it, just sad that someone would keep trying it on after you helped them out.]0 -

If i didnt know her well i probably would! but i know it wouldnt ever be the end of it, trust me! - would then be the woman who took beack a buggy from a mum on benefits!
Within 5 mins of saying no cash, but i would help her resell (which i think it was fair) i was disgusting, unbelieveable, taking money off a mum on benefits, it never came with x,y,z which i never said it had anyway!!! - of course nothing was mentioned for over 2 weeks
if she had been civil, i probably would have taken it off her hands, but the nitpicking text messages and then the final message
i thought !!!! her! shes trying it on, and probably has already sold the thing
of course in hindsight i shoulda said i dont have one, but i guess paying it forward doesnt always work out]0 -
It's sad, but at least you're not wasting any more time or friendliness on such a chancer anyhow.
I'm wondering if you'd given things to some friends, and she knew about it, so thought she'd try her luck.0
