Thanks WorriedJim, but they have my address to write letters and 14 days to pay the fine.
1. Its NOT a fine!! Only a court can fine you!! That is embodied in Common Law in the Distress Act 1285!!!
2. You have all your life to pay them zilch.. Its not legally enforceable in any court in the country!!!
3.SO they have your address? So what? What do you thin kthey are going to do? Ill tell you - nothing!!! Theres NOTHING they can do except write you scary looking but completely toothless letters.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. If any Parking Pirates have a problem with my post then contact me for my solicitors address.*****0 -
just ignore 100%, its a scam, they have zero powers to do anything.0
-
Why not? No law broken. You have just as much right to go round taking photos of cars as they have, as long as you/they are in a public place.10 photos of my car including exterior and interior shots (taken through the windows) of my car. Has anyone else come across this? I wasn't aware that this could be done. Any help on how to continue most welcome.0 -
Whos car park was it?From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
The best advice has already been given. ignore all their correspondance. It will get more and more threatening and then go away. These people have never taken anyone to court as they cannot win. By responding to them you are just letting them know that they have a chance.0

I've had three so far on behalf of Senator Security . First one was from "Parking Collection Services", the second and third ("Notice of Litigation") from "Debt Recovery Plus".
Rest assured I shan't be paying them anything.0 -
The letter I've received is from their Senator Parking Operations. No named signature either. Looks pretty official.0
-
It's designed to look official even though it carries no more weight than a helium balloon. Senator might be borderline legal, but they are a morally wrong parking company.
So what if they have pictures.0 -
Some people are difficult to convince. How many times does the OP need to be told that it's all a scam and can safely be ignored.
Of course it looks official but that doesn't make it official. It has only got to look official enough to fool the uninformed and seems to be succeeding in this case. Take the advice given to IGNORE and IGNORE again.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
