I do know whatever someone's got in their savings accounts this does not come into it when approving lending products as you know it's about how much is going & coming into your current account as its all computer generated.

Moneysaverlog log do you put a few quid into your account on a monthly basis?
Have you been in the branch and questioned what behaviour score you have?
When you had your troubles from years back did you have issues or didn't payback lloyds,BOS, or Halifax?

I did speak to someone in internet banking who said they don't give offers all the time. Marketing preferences are correct and should get offers when they are released where I'm eligible.

I have a substantial amount of money going through each of the vantage accounts every month, and my salary is paid in here. This last month has seen over £5K go into my first vantage account (which is a little unusual as I was moving across savings from matured regular saver account and sold some NS&I savings certificates too) The other vantage accounts always have £1,000 cycled through them so it looks like I'm paying in loads.

Yes I had past problems with Halifax which are now resolved, however that has not stopped me getting a OD and Credit Card with LTSB.

Last time I checked my behaviour score (which is more geared towards loan APRs as I understand it) the score was 1A

I opened lloyds tsb vantage account in January this year.

I have always maintained balance of £5,000 to earn maximum interest. Have setup 2 direct debits and standing order to one of their esavers aco!!!!. And now finally I have started seeing offers appearing on my online banking just like Halifax.

I am getting advance mastercard and upgrade to silver account under my offers. When clicking on upgrade I can upgrade as high as to Platinum account. Although the offer for credit card isn't one of the guaranteed offers so I'll wait until it turns into off.

I had guaranteed acceptance offer from Halifax after running their reward account for 6-7 months exactly.

    Lloyds systems are cleaver.

When calculating your behaviour score they tend to ignore faster payments. as transfering £1000 from a savings into your main account and back again sort of tricks the system so they ignore it.

They generally only look at BACS payment ( i.e wages )

Is this really the case? ... If so, then I pity the self-employed, or those who work for small businesses whose salary payments are made by FP rather than BACS Direct Credit.

100% true im afraid, when calculating the internal scores there systems see if its a FPS ( Faster Payment Service ) or a BACS payment.

BACS tend to be a salery etc.

Where as if i moved £1000 6 times back and from my savings.... it looks like ive put in £6000 when it reality ive put in nothing hence why they dont take it into account.

However, if you can send the money via BACS. and make it look like wages or something. maybe this will mess with the score. and open up more lending opputunitys.

but halifax take it into account when checking if u have put in £1000 a month for the £5 bonus on the rewards account.

Jon not saying I don't believe what your saying but how can you possibly know this as lloyds probably have a million self/employed customers are you saying that all these customers who recieve faster payments never get offers as I know Barclays defiantly don't work like this.
