    V888, the car pushed across the ends of any of the drives in the photo, just enough so it counts as being parked on private land. Then back again for the tow truck. Don't upset suburbia.

    I assume that means you agree. Any individual can request the data from the dvla, not just PPC's.

    No, it means I'm laughing at you.
    You're correct that anybody can request information - whether they receive it is another matter entirely. You would need to prove reasonable cause as a private individual - the car would need to be abandoned on private land for that.

  • Even if, and it's a big if, you are successful, you've still just got the registered keepers details.
    As for your tow truck, I'm assuming the driver hasn't been back for 14 days and you've displayed appropriate signage? If not, your tow truck driver may well be questioned over the theft of a vehicle.
