Well she has I think 7 days to pay you, then you are entitled to wait until the cheque clears before sending the item and usually I put "will be posted within 1 to 2 working days from cleared payment" - how quick it arrives then depends on postage method user has chosen. I think a week or so from posting shoudl give an idea - but bearing in mind the buyer here... I would send the abusive mails to Ebay and NOT post another thing to her for the time being.

In future ALWAYS send it signed for! Or at the very least make sure that you get a proof of postage.

    Best of luck

Wear it with pride if it is negative feedback :) You have done nothing wrong and others will be able to see her Neg feedback too if they check yours and they can see that others have negged her for being untrustworthy too.
DEFINITELY report her abusive mails! She might even get her account removed for the mails she has been sending you.
As for the cheque the it will show as removed from her account before it shows in your account - banks make a nice little profit on this in fact ;) However you are will within your rights to NOT post anything until it's showing as cleared in your account.

Stick by your guns and don't let her bully you.
Most Ebay transactions are smooth and pleasant but occasionally you will get a nutter... it can't be avoided :)

  • this is the problem with cheques - you have to wait to receive it in the post, then bank it and then wait for it to clear. In the meantime the buyer gets impatient because as far as they are concerned they paid some time ago. The best bet is not to accept cheques. Not everyone has paypal so this reduces the number of bidders potentially but it may help to avoid this sort of situation.

    ;)

Agreed :) I occasionally accept postal orders or bankers draft but I won't send anything until I hold the cash in my hands.

I don't know if it is allowed, but if it is then name and shame her on here

Probably not allowed, with the new feedback format you can look through all the feedback they have left and they seem very hard to please they have left such a lot of bad feedback for other people surely she cant be that unlucky to have such bad luck i have never once had to leave it for anyone she is a serial complainer god help anyone else who has to deal with her.
