Their site says 3 of them are in the peak district, one in the lake district, one in the south west, one in central England and another one in Staffordshire. Which camp are you after?0

I live in Chesterfield so the camps in the peak district would be the best for us. If my son takes a friend, do you know if they'll be able to share rooms or are they split up?0 -

Asked my kids this, they said they normally keep friends in the same cabin groups as long as they are roughly around the same age and the same gender.0 -

Hmm, I wonder if they'd refund me if I won?0

This sounds like just the kind of thing I'm looking for for my son. Does anyone know if they provide transport to the camps?0

i worked at a summer camp in America for 2 summers and one summer in Canada through CCUSA. From a counselors perspective they are brillant as they learn new skills, work with different ages from different places and grow loads as people. I would totally recommend going as a kid. For the person from Chesterfield google polygon in Alfreton as they used to run summer scheme where they took us Canoeing, kayaking, climbing and absailing, caving etc and it used to be really cheap (13 years ago now but was about 3 quid a day, just had to take your own food) well worth looking up for something local to do:
