You've received a lot of really good advice on here, only you're too angry to appreciate it.
1. LHA/HB/CTB is based solely on household income and has nothing to do with which benefit you're on. many workers claim these benefits.
2. If your daughters are at university they'll receive funding to enable them to pay for their rent, keep and spending.
3. I'm sure it's a good idea to cut down on the fish tanks. On an earlier thread you had several and someone helpfully worked out that this was costing you several pounds a day, so people's advice can help you to save money.
4. Means tested ESA only stops after 365 days if your household income is over the threshold, not automatically.
I'm sure we're all very sorry that you're ill and in pain, it can't be pleasant for you. Hope things improve.
You talk about means test, what is the threshold?, It cannot be a high amount!! My wife has been ill since the age of 16, she suffers from AS, and has not worked since 1999 and was pensioned off, she receives ESA of £199, as was on ICB, which has now been abolished again by this Government.
And as for being very angry, I did not expect to be told to go to foodbanks, people looking at my previous post, things change, and I do not have `loads of fish tanks` I cannot due to my health, just one is left,
And I appreciate the kind advice given by members, my mood goes up and down due to pain levels, I am on morphine and take over 25 tablets a day, I suffer from chronic pain which was a result of an operation on my spine.0 -

I'm not sure of the income rules regarding means tested ESA.. savings limit is 16k.. your partner doesn't work so that isn't a factor. It seems you are getting some income related ESA which recently changed.. therefore it seems your income is falling in between the limits for full eligibility and no eligibility. I'm actually scanning online and surprisingly can't find details...must be having a bad day. Perhaps worth putting your details into the turntous calculator. Any income from DLA won't count for means testing.
Regarding IB.. it was actually the last government that effectively abolished it. ESA is a labour construction.
Might be worth looking at your energy supplier website too. Quite possible you could qualify for a warm home discount... annual rebate of about £120
I understand you've got CAB helping you appeal to get into ESA Support Group. If it ends up with tribunal I strongly advise you attend to give evidence orally.... make sure you focus on the descriptors relevant to Support Group that you and CAB are making a case for applying to you."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0
