Morning All
Plan of action for today is to try and make some inroads in my bedroom. Other than that DD has a party this afternoon but I'll probably just drop her off.
Piggers - hope baby has landed now.
Have a good day all

Morning everyone.
I hope Your newest grand beast has arrived and all is well.
Cooking a huge piece of beef for Step-Dad's 70th party today. Smells good.
Great night at Newmarket races. Won 4 races, got a place in the last and watched Madness. DH is in a bad mood. His tipster mates left him without a single winning bet. It's the karma fairy again. I've recovered the £70 I spent in the garden centre yesterday. I asked for him to go halves and he made excuses. I have put my winnings in my Christmas pot. This is my home for all unexpected monies, washing machine, back of the sofa type money and the like.0 -
Morning all
Mumto5 congrats on your winnings
Mummyyof5 thinking of your friend
Piggers hope DD is cuddling a bundle of joy
DH is up for decorating the family/dining room so we have just sorted out all the pots of paint in the garage - have the ceiling and wood paint so now to think about the walls again, first tester is a definite, resounding no.
Flying, washing going on and the following to be done today:
Hoover sofas
HHI
Clean bathroomsThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning, hope DD has listened to Piggers' advice and has experienced a gentler birth.
WM is on, have washed up and debating whether to go and get a new mop and bucket, as the mop snapped and the bucket with the squished in has disappeared at exactly the same time as the other mop self destructed. Any recommendations? It's for kitchen Lino and laminate.
DW and WM both got descaler put through last night and I bleached the whole countertop. As I defrosted and cleaned the freezer a couple of days ago, that just leaves the fridge, which, as it is most weeks now, is almost empty. Might put a couple of the drawers through the DW.
Did I mention that I'm scratching around for stuff to do because I'm bored?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Morning Flyfriends
It is looking much better here now and is living proof that 'Flying' works. When I got home earlier in the week it looked like a bomb site but now it looks all lovely and 'homelike' again. I had a fall earlier in the week which has slowed me down a lot, but determination has won through:)
We are waiting for a new Grandbeast which is due on Sunday, poor M2B is very uncomfortable, she is rather petite and bump is humongous. My son was 10lb 8oz so it could be a whopper!
Today I am going to chill out and do very little, beyond the essentials:)
Good Luck Piggers with the new GB xx

One week into flying and my house was a tip at the start but now it resembles a home.I have tried to keep on top of the kitchen and bathroom and the results are obvious.Still have a long way to go in my room and my ROD youngest sons room but you can now see his floor and windowsill!!!! thanks to HHC which has made it even easier as I know I am not going to be stuck in there all day.
Huge Thanks for all your inspiration and motivation.Sept GC £2000 -
LR has had its two HHC for today. I've also hoovered half-way up the stairs and the small space at the bottom.
Note to self: Can do maintenance during the week and make progress at the weekend or vice versa. Both at the same time just won't happen!
There are some things stacked by the door to go in the car or in the recycling bins, but I'll have to wear a bit more before I venture out.
DH has been into town and is now doing something outside, but I've no idea what. DS2 is playing and DS1 is not back from his GF's. Quick break and then off into the kitchen and do some laundry.
ETA Going for a double HHC in the kitchen at 12.10, combined with laundry, if anyone fancies joining me.0 -
was up at sparrow's cough to peg out washing - got some of it dry so that was good - just had to go out though and drag in the washing that wasn't yet dry as it is raining - as per.
Put away last lot of ironing and ironed some more. Working all week has taken its toll - loads of laundry to do!
Anyway have now given bathroom a very thorough clean - and must add toothpaste and loo rolls to the shopping list.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
