The hhc is a minor miracle!

Procrastination takes more time than housework, lol. I have polyfillad the whole in the kitchen wall. I might (!) paint next week. I have a schedule of maintenance stuff that needs doing this summer. It's quite extensive, and has been put off for some time. But, flying has shown that baby steps is the way, so broken down into smaller tasks (have just cleared out my kitchen wine slots, that had no wine, but purses, paperwork for appliances, chargers, chewing gum etc. only took 10min so why have I been looking at it all for two years haha!) things actually get done!

I also got the boxes down from the top of the kitchen units. Only two, but both mini choppers, lol, for making own baby food. Will put these on the "sell" pile.

Mum has just been, I bought some pumps from clarks, and they are comfy and soft and apparently I've been going on about them, so she has got me another pair in a different colour as an early birthday present. What a lovely surprise. I sort of want to ignore my birthday this year. Will be my first one without dh and both mil and FIL have warned me theirs were horrible.

But mum is taking me and the tots to Chester zoo, so should be distracted...

Bit late in posting today, its thunder, heavy rain n lightening here….me no likey, think the cleaning of windows will have to wait as it has to be like this all weekend, I will do the insides, window cleaner does outsides anyway! :DI have staff:D

I have just walked in and am having a desperately needed :coffee:

    and I find...

the beds were being stripped and remade
    the dishwasher is running
pots which cannot be dishwashered (?) have been washed
cat dishes are soaking in the sink
    and now DD is vacuuming

I think the idea of letting them be off school after GCSEs is excellent

I have been told to shift my stuff:rotfl:makes a change!

    I'm going for a shower.

:hello: Hi ladies! Day off today, and I'm not feeling well, so not working or rushing around. I thought I'd pop in to say hello and hope that you are all well.

School has been very demanding this year, and DS2 has been doing A2's as well. DS1 is working as a postman, and DD has almost secured her college place (hugely difficult to get a place or funding as she's the advanced age of 20:eek:). OH has retired (his post was deleted at Easter) so I'm teaching him to fly. He's doing very well!

Roll on the end of term, and I'll be popping back during the summer.

Love and best wishes to all my flylady friends - and all the newbie who won't have the faintest idea what I'm on about!

Well, tots fed, kitchen s&s, toys put away, or so I thought but it appears they are now building a train track. Need to bath them as dd has blue paint in her hair.

I swear it hasn't stopped raining all day. Not once.

Had to pull them off each other earlier. And the pirate ship was confiscated. Not really sure how it started, but tbh whatever DD wants to play with, DS decides its his, and she no longer lets hom bully her (go girl) but unfortunately, she uses teeth and claws . I obviously have to tell her off, but really this is a build up of a year of him shoving her, snatching from her, and I think she's reached breaking point, lol.

Right. Bath the little gits. Lol
