    right im back.. the pins where the jumpers are located is not used by my enclosure so i only have the long plug for the 39/40 pins and the 4 pin plug on the end.. so the 10 pin socket is not used.. what now ? =(

    thx just found this on google =) i have removed the jumper to make drive slave but still not picking it up ?

    Those pins are ONLY used to change between master/slave/cable select.

    Is the case you're using a standard USB caddy or a custom one for use with the TV?

    its a usb caddy.. can plug this caddy with my old hard drive in but this 1 just freezes everything up..
