    Xmas Saver!
I am giving up on Nectar completely.

Their ad points is a joke as is this. They do want to give points away while looking like they do.

We have a Sainsburys here, but as I can't seem to collect any extra points anywhere, I am not going to bother shopping in there. There are cheaper shops I can use.
  • I'm a nectar points feind so was gutted to see this! they've started offering nectar points for other companies tho aswell.

I've tried several times to buy an item of skin care from a company selling on Ebay. They sold me several, then suddenly refused my custom with the message from Ebay 'This seller won't sell to buyers that do not meet their requirements'. I have 100% top ratings on Ebay and PayPal, and the company have sold to me via email a few times but do not respond when I ask them what's going on. They just invite me to order by email at same price as on Ebay. Ebay say they can't help. What next?

Have they blocked you? Have you left them low stars?

Do you have a credit card on file? Is your paypal verified? Do you have a non paying bidder strike?

Thats the only way i can think of, For them stopping you bidding.

    Have you tried bidding?

Have you bought a lot of items in a short space of time?
Some sellers block buyers who buy xx items in 10 days

Hi, this has always been the case with eBay, unfortunately if you purchase an item previously placed on your watch list, it’s not classed as a Nectar referral and we’re unable to award points.

To ensure no one is missing out unnecessarily, we try to keep our Important Information section as up to date and clear as possible.

I hope you enjoy collecting points with Nectar eShops in the future.

I emailed nectar because I did not know how to get the points or have a nectar card. They replied and asked me to print between the lines but it won't print.

    What?

    1) Pick up a card from Sainsbury or a BP station or order one online.

    2) Register it online, if required.

    3) Link it to your eBay account online.

    It really isn't that hard.

I don't think any of those things apply to me but thanks for the suggestions. Pretty sure they only do 'Buy it now' not bidding. I wonder if they're abusing the rules of Ebay by inviting me to buy directly via email.
  • I bought two of something a couple of times but several weeks or months apart. How would I know if that was the problem? No-one has explained!
  • Nectar card hahaha any REAL benefits of that? Convince me!
