    When you apply dont you input your account number and sortcode into the bank details section?

    Thats part of the underwriting checks (length of time with bank etc).

    As others have said when a lender searches your credit file, they can see the credit limits, current balances and payment history but they cannot see the providers those accounts are with.

    That may explain them knowing who your current account was with, but unless you were requesting a BT on the application you wouldn't enter your Barclaycard details.
  • To be honest thats quite a low limit for the Flybe card, I know when I had mine they gave me 5K straight away with the lowest apr, that was before things went tits up for me mind lol.
  • What is Flybe's acceptance rate like? And do you have to fly with them :P

    I will be applying for the creation card or maybe the Flybe card in the next 3 weeks.
    I'm in a similar situation as you Sharpy with regard to the subprime cards that I have:-

    Vanquis = £1750 limit
    Aqua = £700 limit
    Capital one = £1500 limit
    Monument = £700 limit

    I on the other hand carry balances on all the cards and hope to get a balance transfer card by either Creation or Flybe (if the do balance transfers).

    You have zero balances on all your cards, so maybe that makes you a better candidate than me for acceptance.:(

    Fingers crossed though.

    Just applied for the Flybe card and have been sucessful.

    Card and pin are being sent out and the credit limit it states is £1000 at an APR of 24.9%.

    Well chuffed as this is my lowest APR then all my subprime cards by almost a half.

    Going by the OP screenshot (which incidentally is the exact same response I got) do you think this will still go through a underwriter?

    I put in for 3 balance transfers on the application totalling £1900 ££600, £400 and £900) but was only given a £1000 limit, what do you think they will do with regards to the balance transfers I put in for?

    Thanks
