What a relief......
Time for a new photo?0 -
Just read this rising. What a worry for you!
It would have brought everything back, which would have been worse. SO relieved that she's ok. Hmm-she'll be even more spoiled now eh?..:pRuaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Morning all - well she seems a bit brighter this morning & has brought me her favourite toy which is a good sign:) (but didn't really have the energy to play with it for more than a couple of mins).
Needless to say, I didn't sleep a wink as I was worried she might make a noise (wanting out etc) during the night .... but she didn't.
She's just had a little chicken & rice and we're off to the vet later this morning so they can see how she's doing (and I might try to get a wee nap after that!).
Sazzy spoiled .... errr 2 words spring to mind "wrapped" and "paw" :rotfl:GR promise to get some new pics soon (I did try some the other day but they didn't come out well as the flash was on & the colour distorted).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I KNEW it! :rotfl::rotfl: Only because I'm as bad when mine haven't been well.
Pics would be great! Wonder if she'll have the 'oh look at me being not well, love meeeeeee' look..Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Poor wee soul has already crashed out on the sofa again - will try a pic (can't find cable to link camera to pc which is a bit annoying so having to try moby).
I'll wait until I need to get up again (she tends to get up and follow me whenever I get up) as need to fetch mobyGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Made up she's a bit better! Maybe she scavenged something nasty - mine are always doing that. You think they're sniffing about in the grass then they come up licking their lips, then proceed to have the galloping wildies for the next three days, or throw up all over the place!
I swear I'm getting a budgie next time I get a pet!!!0 -
Sorry to hear she's poorly but glad she's on the mend again.0

How is she now Rising?0

She's OKish - check up went well (sorry meant to add a link as posted on another board but forgot
) and her temp was back in normal range.
Need to watch her closely for next 48 hours to make sure she doesn't go downhill again - she's got antibiotics for 5 days and is on very restricted exercise until she's finished them.
Vet said it could be a number of things - something she picked up from another dog (she hasn't had much contact with other dogs until now), something she's eaten or something dead she's picked up (she is a nightmare for retrieving dead things & bringing them to me).
We had a (literally) 5 min walk round the block as it's been pelting down here all day (errrr is it not supposed to be summer!) and quite cold - and she came in & crashed out straight away. Big difference from our usual 5 mile walks & she still wants to play with her toys when we get back
She's eaten her dinner (with antibiotics in which was fab) and has crashed out again, poor wee lamb's not herself at all:(. However she is bright when she's awake so maybe she's best just sleeping it off (I know I tend to sleep a lot when I'm not well).
Have had to cancel visiting DP tomorrow (first time I'll have missed Father's Day for years so feeling guilty about that) but couldn't take her a) in case it's something infectious their dog could catch and b) don't think it would be fair to take her when she's not well.
Think it may be an early night as totally shatteredGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
