OK, so we have a Sky HD Box and a router with AOL as our ISP. How/ can we set up Anytime+ wirelessly?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You need a Sky wireless connector -
See - http://www.sky.com/helpcentre/tv/anytime-plus/set-up/setting-up-a-sky-wireless-connector/
Or save £60 and just hide the wires0 -
Any wireless access point set up in AP client mode will do.

I would second a wired connection over a wireless one. Even with an overly fast connection speed wireless is generally unreliable.
You are not missing much on anytime + either, there is plenty of content compared to when it first launched but mostly old stuff and no HD as far as I recall which is ironic considering you can only get it once you get a HD box!0 -

What does this do, and what does AP client mode mean?
I really thought my H D box would just connect wirelessly to my router!0 -

No, the link they posted is a switch not a router.
In order to access all files on a network from a particular device you would need to add that device to the network.
In this case, you don't need to access the files on the network from your box, you just need to share the internet connection to add the sky box to the wireless network. So a switch will do this.
If the sky box had a USB input you could just get a wireless dongle and connect that way but the box doesn't have this (presumably so they can try to sell you their own overpriced junk that can be bough cheaper elsewhere)0 -

In order for the box to just connect to the router, it would have to contain a wireless card or, as I mentioned, have a USB port that you can stick a wireless USB dongle into.0 -
Thanks, johnnyboy.
I'll check tomorrow if there's a USB port, if not I'll try the Ethernet.0
