You would feel how I do if the boot was on the other foot.

My ex pays nothing towards our son and now has a court order to take from his wages. Luckily I can support my child and have a wonderful hubby to be who also supports all our children so I don't need the money nor do I care that every week we stil.l dont get anything even with the court order...... But I know of people who desperately need the csa to help them (I'm sure as a single mother you can appreciate how hard it is for a parent to bring up kids alone) provide for their children.

If it was the other way around I would not feel like the csa or the ex partner were vultures for actually taking what is owed to support a child sorry thats just me and from my experience.
My exes words were "why should I pay when you earn more" I dont know what your ex is like or his ex for that matter but he had children and he should pay for them. Just like he has debt and he should pay for that.

I think its terribly sad that you and your child have been caught up in this. How old is your kid btw old enough to get a mortgage and buy the creep out? ;) (any relatives to buy his half as an investment?)

I hope you get some proper help and support I really do

Hi thanks, but have you noticed that the newspapers don't publish stories involving the CSA cases like this. It is thought that they have been silenced on these issues.

Are newspapers prevented from doing so legally? I'm sure you know more about this than myself ...

I was thinking of the welfare angle makes an engaging story for journos (evil courts/govt/waster evicting innocents from their home ).

The human rights angle suggested by prev posters seems plausible too.

but this man is a stubborn manipulator who cares more about winning than he does about my daughter and I. .

He doesnt even care about his own kids to give them maintenance.......

I honestly dont think they can legally evict you and your child........ and if they can then that is in fact disgraceful.

Please go get some free (as you dont need more payments because of him!) legal advice and let us know how you get on! I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

I wholly agree that he should pay for his child, but the point I am making here is that HE is not, I am, through my property, as I have the greater beneficial interest in the property as it was mine for 6 years soley previously, he has already stolen £20,000 of equity, which was brought before the court, so he has already had anything he would have been entitled to, and therefore if it is sold all the equity should be mine, therefore if it is taken I will be paying off his CSA debts not him. So he gets away with it and my child and I are made homeless and virtually bankrupt.

Is there any way you can write down all the expenses you have incurred due to him and take him to court? (You may get legal aid so wouldnt cost you anything) You probably couldnt get the 20k back as you signed for the remortgage but could you perhaps claim any estate agency fee's or hotel costs maybe?
