Horace I also felt sheer panic when I was diagnosed with glaucoma and I really lost confidence driving even though my licence was renewed for 3 years. But I found that the glaucoma sites out there were quite good and helpful about practical things like the process with DVLA- I suppose it very much depends and internet sites vary. I suppose it's mainly the people for whom things aren't going so well who tend to post and that might give a distorted idea of what the typical experience is like. I know that two years on with my visual fields are stable I don't use the sites so much
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Morning All, I got up early (for me!) and have done quite a few bits, just general tidying up and some washing. Got Dad coming over for Sunday lunch and my daughter has an order for 30 bracelets that I am helping her with so she can get them posted tomorrow (she makes jewellery and has a page on facebook if anyone is interested - Sparkly Place)

Hope everyone has a good day - I usually get the misery bear feeling about 4pm (This is what my colleagues call the Sunday feeling before going back to work on a Monday!)

I have got the misery bear already (love the phrase and going to use it regularly!) Back no better today and got to do reports ready for my extended deadline tomorrow morning. Am going to try and feed myself healthy foods, get more sensible exercise and rest and plan my life out properly - when today's stupidity is done with.:o
