The Matrix Marches On...

I think MG wanted to concentrate on her blog and the other side. Her blog has certainly evolved. She felt that as she was talking more about her business starting to take off and her life moving in a different direction that it was time to step away from MSE before she contravened any of MSE's rules. I think she will poke her head in from time to time though. This is the gist of what she posted on the old thread.
I am hoping that peeps will be able to provide recipes and tips on making things because when it comes to sewing or knitting or making anything then I am clueless:(0 -
...shuffles in, waves
I was sad to hear of MG's decision, but I do understand it. I am pleased we can carry on with our nattering hereThanks Horace.
Well I should be packing for hollybobs on Sunday, but I am not.
I've not slept properly for 12 days now, and it's getting to me. If I wasn't off next week I'd be thinking about going to the Dr...
I've tried all the standard stuff - lavender, no caffiene etc etc. Any off-the-wall tips appreciated. I know that I am stressed out, so hopefully a nice sunny break will snap me out of the cycle
Enough of my boring stuff...
...carry on as you were x0 -
TMIF, Sorry you are feeling down. Might be the result of all the c**p you have been dealing with. I had a bad spell some years ago and found it helpful to scribble down everything that was on my mind. It seemed to work as once it was on paper it wasn't buzzing round my head non stop and I did manage to get some sleep. The book I filled up would probably make very interesting reading now if I had though to keep it0

Yeah, it's just all the gubbins that's going on at work.
Obviously happy to have a job, but demotivated, sad for my colleagues, angry at the way it's been managed etc.
A nice week off will sort me out, just one more day to survive. Yay!
I feel as if these threads are like therapy - long may they continuexx

Waves - I am kernackered.
But I hit all the deadlines at work today, not bad considering I have been ther only couple of weeks.
I have found a place to live in back home and booked a school place for DD. Given notice for my present LL and instructed my solicitors to get cracking with the court case. When I get bit more energy the decluttering will start in earnest."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Well done Marru and  to Horace for getting us re-started.
Bit of a carpy day here all told with bad news about a health issue which has got worse rather than better and is going to need some rethink about lifestyle. If I can't manage the problem myself then long term surgery would be the only option and one I'd like to avoid tbh. Feel veryabout it and slightly like my world is a bit falling apart (not serious or life threatening just makes me feel much older and more tired than I should be) Am sure a long soak and a good sleep will help.

Hello peeps. If my typing goes wonky it is because I am part way through a system scan of my computer seeing as I have updated the antivirus software.
Stress causes sleepless nights (as does the menopause:() I am sure I am entering the menopause due to the amount of hot flushes and general wierdness that I am suffering from. I always find that reading a book at bedtime helps - Duncan Bannatyne sends me to sleep in minutes:rotfl:
Dora - sorryto hear that your health condition has reared its ugly head, here's hoping that you dont have to have drastic surgery.
Marru well done on finding a house back home as well as a school - fingers crossed that your solicitor does his/her bit and deals with your ex twerp.
I couldnt be bothered to cook the chicken and instead had a scotch egg for tea (well I did have 2 beefburgers in baps for lunch). I have watched a bit of telly and been sorting through books and looking at my Delia Smith's Frugal Foods book. I am keeping all my cookery books and some fictional books but I am now thinking that I will get rid of all my Michael Connolly books (the Kellermans went last week) - all in an attempt to cut down on the amount of stuff that I have. Parting with books is hard.
I need to make arrangements with Marru too so that we can meet for coffee/chat and bubblewrap:cool: (sounds kinky I know:eek:).0
