    Hi everyone,

Member 17 checking in for duty. Well done everyone on all your progress and 1% - no matter how small.

Happytails - you are amazing and don't tell yourself otherwise. We all have to treat ourselves occassionaly and even with a treat 20% is a fantastic amount - so be proud!!!!! :T

Well I still have'nt got my clubcard vouchers through yet for the days out and I think that after hubby has just used the joint account to pay £500 for something or another I had better wait until the end of the month to check the remaining balance before transferring to the savings account the £131 saved from the deals.

On the plus side, I had a astall at a local craft fair today and now have £95 waiting to pay into the savings pot - thats another 3% :j. I won;t add ot to my total and officially declare it though until it is safely in my savings account.

I also have another craft fair booked for tomorrow so here's hoping I can earn another couple of % (more would be even better ;)) to add as well.

Well happy weekend %'ing everyone. xxxx

Check you out CraftingMad! Well done!

56 listings on Ebay! All crafty bits, they're slowly ticking away on there. OH has finally given me back a bit of the money he owes me, was getting worried as my budgets were getting a bit squeaky if he hadn't given me any! For ebay I've been filling a plastic box up with all the bits to list, then batch photographing them and just plugging away until the box is empty. Seems to work better than trying to do the whole lot in one go - actually feel like I'm getting somewhere. Unfortunately it is making me want to own a bead shop even more! Must hold back on that, want to get myeslf sorted before embarking on any business endeavours.

Still at 19%, grr, but got until the 22nd of this month to top up to 20% (want to have it rounded off to 20% before I put my % in from wages) so pretty confident I'll end this month on a rounded off figure.

Anyone thinking about their next target to hit with the %? I owe my mum a stonking £6k so that will be next on the list to hit, but after that I'm thinking it'll be saving for a nice greenhouse :)

Sorry its a quick check in from me today as despite me being busy with craft fairs on both days of the weekend and being absolutely tired (actually another word but too polite to say!!! :p), I now have to cook dinner for the kids, my parents and me - can you tell how annoyed I am - nobody even helped me carry my stuff in from the car

But anyway the good news is I have got another £122 to add to the pot from todays fair so in total over the weekend I have earnt £217 to add to the savings pot - that equates to 7% so I'm a happy bunny :j

Well off I go to make dinner seeing as my mum does'nt fancy a take away, whilst everyone else is sat on their backsides - oh lucky me !!!!!! :(

Grrr, I am doing rubbish at this challenge. So far I have less than 1/3 of 1% which is a bit depressing but my target is pretty high.

so far I have made £47 on ebay and £16 on fatbrain.

the rest of my books are unsellable and I have a collection building up on zapper but at least 1/2 dozen books and only worth £3 :-( I wonder if keeping them will bring me more joy than £3.

I was hoping for another free listing weekend this weekend but it wasn't to be.

Well my car broke today  something with the clutch. Luckily it's under warranty until end October but I've now got to Taff with Toyota fixing it and getting a courtesy car etc. I'm assuming clutches are under warranty? Otherwise that's My savings pot gone. It's only 3 years old with 39k on the clock so didn't expect this.

No more sales on eBay but got a few more items to list through sorting out the wardrobes. Think I might aim to list 3 a night and go from there. Got £10 to make to cover my eBay seller fees last month as I emptied my pp account the other week.

Good news is I didn't tip my hairdresser (usually £2 a go) I felt awful but I've tipped every time over the past year, every 6-8 weeks :o and the baby shower was estimated at £25 but spent £15 :T can't put the £10 to my % yet as got to straighten the finances out :o

happytails, do some googling about toyota clutches for the year and model you have. My gear box went a few years ago on a honda jazz that was outwith warranty but it turned out that it was a fairly common problem and there was an extension of the warranty although they didn't advertise it. I went to the garage to get it fixed and told them it would be under the extension of the warranty and they fixed it for free saving me £100's. Fingers xed Toyota's have something similar

    Hi All

I have been reading this thread with great interest. I would love to join this challenge, I quite like the craft route and have been considering selling digital prints on Esty or Folksy. Has anyone had any real success with these sites?
  • Hi everyone, I'd like to join please.

Currently on maternity leave so pretty broke but need to have car insurance money and nursery deposit and first months fees saved up by mid November :/

My 1% will therefore be £30

I've got tonnes of baby stuff to sell on Facebook (cant be doing with the fees on ebay) just need to hope that people want my boys and girls clothing and unused steriliser/bottles etc for more than a few pence!
Also thinking about selling off all my craft stuff, got a Big Shot thats only been used a handful of times so may as well sell it on for the greater good along with all my scrapbooking and card making supplies :'(
Mummy to a very gorgeous little boy and baby girl :D

naughty- I thought I'd be sad about selling all of my crafting stuff, but it's actually kinda liberating :) I had waaaaaaay too much stuff and through sorting it all out I've found three or four things that have inspired me to make stuff again - I'm going to get some little boxes and have project boxes, so maybe this is something you could do if you feel sad about letting stuff go?
