Ebay going ok and almost at the point where another 1% has been made, will know for certain at the weekend when they finish

Only have 3 more pressies to buy - garden tools for one, bike stuff for another and a dvd for another paid for by survey voucher. I will be baking a few pressies too closer to the time. Might have a look online for the garden and bike present and see if I can find them to use another survey voucher just earned

Another 1% - £30 saved by following the say NOvember posting.
Didn't do any food shopping for the week, so I've put the money towards my %'age total.

Got tons of stuff to put on Amazon, e-bay, and Green Metropolis, so guess what I'm doing between now and the end of the weekend?

Slowly filling in my little squares. Just for fun I'm doing them all in different colours, and random squares instead of in a line.

  • embirch - welcome to the thread. You have similar numbers to me and I've only been here a month and have made great progress by transferring "nightly wine" money straight to my Next Account each day I don't have any. If you've got the CC already listed with online banking, it really is easy to get into the habit of transferring each day you don't have a packet of ciggies. Good luck with giving up smoking too. I gave up last August and transferred money each day to a savings account and managed to take the children abroad, all inclusive this August, with what would have gone up in a puff of smoke. You CAN do it :)

  • Hey all,

    Happy Friday!

Here's that little surprise I've been working on! Click Here

    Hope you all like them!

    Have a great weekend!

  • Hehe brilliant!xx Thanks lady !

  • Well these next couple of weeks are going to be a big change and very expensive and if I'm not careful I could undo a lot of hard work.

This week I've paid out for my MOT & Service on my car - best part of £200 spent (also came with lots of advisories for next year - probably time to get rid!)

Car tax is next week AND I've got to go to the dentist for a bit doing (before it turns into toothache) no fillings yet and I want to keep it that way :D

Oh yes and just a small matter of finding a job, paying bills as normal and buying something for Christmas for everyone!

Never mind finding a new job - I think I need a month off! :rotfl:
