  • Well today has been a spendy day for me. Took the plunge and bought an external hard drive from Amaz0ns black friday deals was 99.99 down to 79.99 down to 59.99, then stil had £9.pp so came to just over £50 :D, it has masshoosive storage capacity and i think it will be good as a backup as i think my laptop is slowly on its way out - dont want to lose all of my pics.

Also bought mums xmas pressie using Amaz0n gc so thats another £16 to transfer over as savings.

Did buy quite a lot of baileys in various supermarkets today as there were some great offers - going to make my gran a hamper with baileys, slippers and hot chocolate in it.

Ran out of gc's now though so defo need to earn some more.

Oooooh just remebered i have a baking day tomorrow as im making cakes for my collegues 50th birthday.

Little miss - im very curious to know what you have planned for us, you said you were working on something?

Not much to report here, trying not to go over overdraft, got £100 coming off a friend tomorrow so that needs to get us through to payday. Got £25 hair appt and my friends wedding on Sunday! So hoping we will manage!

eBay ends Saturday, need £30 for purchases I have on hold then the rest can be transferred to the bank for the CC

Registered Evelyn for child benefit so that's £34 a month I can use to pay debts off whilst I'm breastfeeding :D using cloth nappies too so no cost there either!

Ah yes, it's nearly done. Just something small for all us percenters. For all the hard work put in & still to come - just a little something to keep us amused! :p

Just need to put it online and then post a link up here to share with all you lovely people!

    Seconded :D

OOOOh i forgot - payday is tomorrow, not sure I am going to hit my 65% target for the end of the month though, made a couple of purchases on my overdraft for christmas. About 1% so not too bad but ive decided i need to find that 1% from an extra source otherwise is cheating. A babysitting client would be nice.

Hi I've been watching this thread with interest over the past week and it seems like everyone is doing really well. Please can I join.

I'm going to start small and see how I get on, one debt at a time. I've decided to start with DH CC which has a balance of £504. so 1% = £5.04. So will aim for £5.00.

I've got £4.00 already as I've not bought a pack of cigarettes today and I'm trying to give up so lots of £4.00 should make this 1% challenge easier.

Hello. Hope you are all are coping with the bad weather.I know some parts of the country are really bad.
Money wise i've had quite a good couple of days.

Yesterday I received a cheque from them for £63.69. No where near what I'd paid but it was a surprise to get anything at all.
    £3.19 in c0-0p-"divi",£4 luncheon vouchers,and e-b*y profitsof £26.35.
    Grand total £97.23 to add
    Now past the 12% mark.
    Take care everybody,

Hi all, I'm back again after a stressful week. My little girl got rushed into hospital on Weds. They thought it was her appendix so performed the op and took it out (except it was'nt - it was an infection which was attacking her stomach and bowel). Thankfully she is home now and after some kick butt antibiotics is now slowly on the mend. Then my mum got rushed in on Friday with a suspected heart attack (luckily it was not but it is a nasty chest infection which is causing her herat to beat irregularly).

Needless to say I have not managed much %'ing in the last week and I had to cancel a couple of craft fairs which I had booked as my family will always come first.

I have though got £100 from previous craft fairs, £75 from mystery shopping, £35 from Quidco and £10 from reward account waiting to be paid in so once I can actually get to the bank I will be able to declare another 11%.

Plus I have craft fairs booked for both Saturday and Sunday this week so my fingers are crossed for more %'s soon.

Well done everyone on all your progress xxx

(((hugs))) Hope all goes well from now on. xxx

  • Well I have managed to get the main bulk of my xmas pressies, 10 in total for the family kids and my OH for a grand total of £99.82 (not including £2 quidco!) very chuffed as I only have 1 more kiddie pressie to get and my dad and brother – think that’s a pretty good price – don’t you? mainly b00ts 3 for 2s

More glad that xmas pressie worry is over now! Off to lakeside tomorrow with MIL but I always like to shop around on the net rather than buy in person and lug it home. So our shop mainly is for MIL and she did mention that I could show her what I might like for xmas – bonus!

Hope to update my totals at the end of the month when I get paid! Keep up the good work guys! Youre doing so well!!
