Welcome to the thread theshinyone - be warned - it's very addictive! My 1% is a similar amount to yours - £5.50 (equivalent to a bottle of wine). My LBM was 21st Oct and I'm finding it really easy only having to concentrate on a small figure for now.
Good luck and virtual alcohol coming your way
We've grabbed the kettle rather than the corkscrew tonight, so have just transferred another 1% to my Next Account via online banking.

Morning all - Number 163 checking in
Have had a very productive morning so far - combined walking the dog, taking car to the garage, dropping off gibble into town, and paying-in 2p, 20p and £2 into the Bank. This has taken another 1.5% off my Next Account so I'm off to update my sig now.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

We're saving to pay for an extension to the house, are 1% savers welcome? I do love this thread, it's full of the things that make MSE posters great.0 -

Hello MrOrchard! Yes, of course - I guess we're all savers really, just for different things. It's nice that we can all join together - we're all after percents!
I'm sure you've got plenty of useful tips with all the hard work you've put in already with your IVA!0 -
Hi MrOrchard - I'm a 1% saver too, you're not alone! I think there are few other savers on here too..... Saving is just a way of paying off your debts before you get them
