tmd - I have more or less stopped drinking over the last 12mths after being a wine drinker. Funny after a break how your taste changes so much and it becomes totally different and I thought ' I don't like this very much anymore so why am I bothering?' It's always a brew now for me, or a glass of squash! Oh the high life! Happily so too when I think about how much I used to spend on wine in the weekly shop - at least £15 extra a week. Would probably be more now if the prices have gone upfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi everyone!!!
Also sending hugs to you Little Miss... I always say - when one door closes - another one opens... new opportunities... new people to meet... can be scary but keep believing that a new job is on its way to you...
Congrats to Happytails also!!!
Well survived my 40th Birthday and even resisted spending all my birthday money too!!! I managed to save some money on food this week and didn't have any spend days - that together with my presies enabled me to stash away...
Another 1% (£125.00) bringing my total to10%!!!

Little Miss really sorry to hear about your job - think it's a bad week for job losses as we were buying a house - but fell through on Mon as the vendor lost his job. Hope this is one door closed but another opened - maybe turning your thread and ideas into a book?

Thanks for the support Ellesbelles. I have considered putting a book of my money ideas together.
The support on this thread really has inspired me and I do have a lot of of other money systems and tactics that I have used during other stages of my finances that may help others too.
It wouldn't be for profit, the more people it can reach the better! If people found it useful maybe it would open a door into writing for me!0
