Unfortunately, if I have any choice in it, I shall never go to Paris again. Best hotel, worst holiday.

Been to Barcelona 3 times now - love the place! - must see's for me would be:

Sagrada Familia Cathedral
Casa Battlo
Lunch on la Ramblas (not moneysaving but highly entertaining!)
Stroll along the harbour & beachfront - get bus to far end of beach and see big gold fish!
And depending how long they have there, I always like to spend a day at Parc Guell (Can you tell I'm a big Gaudi fan?!) or they could take a trip to Monserrat?

there is a restaurant called Mikael next to the Husa Oriente hotel on las ramblas, cheap food and bang on location.

tell your folks to have a drink at bosc de les fades (next to wax museum at bottom end of ramblas on the left) small alleyway leads you down there. well worth a drink in there.

food is also good as las caracoles just near ramblas.

zoo is good (dolphin show was fun)and a trip to Sitges is a must as is a good pair of shoes.
