Hmm - I've searched for Amsterdam and Ibiza and neither say 'double the difference back ' on the listings anymore....and they did when I searched last week. Easyjet def fly to these destinaions.

But, the 'double the difference back' guarantee is still listed in the 'Hotelopia Safe 6' tab at the top of the website........hopefully EJ are just trying to make it look less prominant rather that get rid of the offer !

Eeek, hope not, just booked another trip with them and received confirmation today. Need to find something in Edinburgh before they stop this!!

Haven't posted in this thread yet but did post in the old one - thank you to everyone who continues to find deals though

It is also still listed in their t & c's.

I need a break in the UK (after my experience in Paris!), may just wing it and find one, and then argue the point (they're used to arguing with me!).

For Edinburgh, the Holyrood seems to be a popular one?!! x
    Gone ... or have I?

Thanks dmg, sadly it isn't available for the nights we want (23 and 24 June). Will keep looking (and quickly!!) Channings is available for one night - guess I'll have to book that just in case. Going for graduation ceremony so dates are not flexible.

    Thanks again

Have a horrible feeling that EJH are making a change ...

Just done a search on a few destinations, and the Double the Difference bit is not coming up. It is just saying 'Full and Final Price'

    Anybody else getting this?

same for barcelona and madrid

    They have not altered their T & C's - yet !

It appears they are not making it so obvious. The main problem now will be the less obvious places i.e Marbella, near Malaga and resorts near Barcelona. Where will they draw the line when deciding if a hotel is at a destination they fly to ? We will have to be careful - looks like city breaks from now on, Paris is still good ! :D

    hi all

so you think it's still ok to go ahead with the bookings even though the "double the difference" isn't prominent anymore? would be terrible if we booked something (had looked at hotels near malaga for two weeks so the intial outlay is nearly £1k, final price less than £100 :j ) and couldn't get the money back!

is it worth risking? has anyone else booked since they've taken down the banners?

    Thanks.

This comment is just my opinion.

If the hotel shows a Malaga address and all the other conditions are satisfied, I would book it. A must do is to take a screen shot of the comparison booking site AND the T & C's at Easyjethotels at the time you book, making sure the Double the Difference guarantee is still there.

Would be interested in what you have found !

    Good luck

Just realised the "Double the Difference" banner is gone last night!! Looks like easyjet is trying to make the deal less obvious so hopefully less people will be making the claim.......Let's hope they won't get rid of the deal completely as there are still many places I need to go.

if this has been answered elsewhere i apologise....

I have just found this thread and successfully booked (and got confirmation of the refund) for three nights in brussels in may that will end up costing me £30 total ((-:

I would like to take advantage of tthis excellent double difference guarantee with one or two more city breaks.... I know that you can only do maximum one a month BUT....... does this mean only one booking per 30 day period, or only one actual hotel stay per 30 day period.

i.e can i make three bookings this month for stays in may, june and july? or....... if i wanted to have three stays in july, would i have to book one this month, one the next and one the m,onth after.

I hope that this question makes sense to people and you get what i am asking - if someone can clarify and confirm i would be very grateful

    David.
