Well, you come then! Leave him to find his own holiday!!! Brussels Jazz Marathon. 25 May-27 May. Free jazz concerts all over the place. Program here from mid April... http://www.brusselsjazzmarathon.be/

Check out NH Stephanie around that time and use find-rooms for the comparisons. Should find it for free quite easily! From memory there is a choice of hotels if you don't fancy that one.

    :D
NH Grand Place Arenberg is worth checking as well - something £9 for 2 nights B&B after a refund!

Check out some cheap flights from London Heathrow for the same dates. £62 return inc taxes with BMI at good times using the daily mirror promotion...

    Thanks Stratford,

Unfortunately I live in Nottingham so Heathrow is a bit of a trek for a short haul. bmi do fly from East Mids, but it is nearly £600! Have found a flight from Birmingham for £110, just trying to persuade someone to give me a lift! x

Looks like BMI know theres a jazz festival on. All other dates in May bar 25 and 27 are only £80 odd inc taxes.

When I see this across the board profiteering,It reminds me, if I were to get even the slightest bit guilty of exploiting these loopholes, "Its do or be done"

    Hi guys

Can you please give me a little reassurance.

I have booked 4 nights in the Thistle , london with Easy jet for 5 th to 9 th April at a cost of £1134.00

I have then found it at https://www.find-rooms.com at a cost of £618.

I have claimed as per directions on Easyjet site under their price promise . I claimed on Monday and had a standard spanish customer service reply. but i have heard nothing since. tommorrow is the end of the three day period that they say they will reply.
However tommorrow is also the last day i can cancel for £20. I am a bit worried incase they do not honour my claim as that is an awfullly big overcharge to pay.

Any advice guys? has anyone had a London one honoured?

    Hi mamamoi.

I've been looking for you and have found the Apsis Atrium Palace for 20-24 April 2007.

    EasyJet Hotels - Double/Twin Standard Inc Breakfast - £998
    Find-rooms.com - Double/Twin Standard Inc Breakfast - £531

Double the difference is £934 so the cost after refund would be £64 for 4 nights' bed and breakfast.

If the hotel, room and board basis is the same, you should have nothing to worry about.

Hi Taradog, I have had claimed Thistle hotel again find-rooms.com about 3 weeks ago as well, they sent me the email of forwarding my request to head office within 4/5 hours, but then I have heard nothing till 26th (which is about 14 days after I sent my claim). They finally got back to me on 26th, but saying they couldn't find the cheap rate I quoted (wonder how that happen?!), so will refund me on the basis of a higher rate which means I only get 1/3 of my money back.

I quickly checked the site again and can still see the cheap price, so took a screenshot again and sent to them asking them to double check, also reminded them that I have also sent screenshot of quickrooms.com in my original claim which the quote can still be found. After one anxious day of waiting, they come back saying they still can't find the cheaper rate on either website, but since I have been waiting so long and have sent screenshot 2 for 2 sites, they will take my words and give me a full refund.

So although find-rooms.com shouldn't be a ptoblem at all, I have the feeling that they just like to make it slightly more difficult for you now, especially the people who has done it more than once, what I would suggest is to write email to them also give them a ring to chase up, mention their own 3 days t&C and always always take a screenshot and send to them.

I can appreciate you are worried. My first claim took almost two weeks and took a few emails and telephone calls before I got the thumbs up. My next took two days !! I cannot see a problem with your claim. I have been looking at the Thistle prices for a few days and there are some very good deals (freebies).
